Springfield Synergy® fabric, made with DuPont™ Nomex®, has been protecting workers from the heat and flame of flash fires in the petroleum, petrochemical, and gas utility industries, as well as the fire service and racing markets.
AirWeave™ Technology from Springfield makes Nomex® fabric cooler. In response to requests for a cooler fabric made with Nomex® we’ve developed AirWeave™ Technology – a weave that makes fabric more breathable so that it’s more comfortable to wear. Synergy fabric with AirWeave Technology provides unbeatable tear resistance, superior breathability and optimized moisture management to keep the wearer cooler, drier and more comfortable. In addition, it will not melt, drip or burn. It just may be the perfect fabric for those working in hot environments who would like a little more airflow in their garments without losing protection from heat and flash fire. The fabric maintains its FR properties, wash after wash, with no loss of inherent heat and flame resistance. In chemically treated fabrics, such as cotton/nylon blends, FR protection can wear away over time and may lose flame resistant properties completely when laundered with bleach or other chemicals. Unlike chemically treated fabrics, protection provided by Synergy is built into the fabric, so the inherent thermal protection properties can never be washed out or worn away. Synergy FR fabric, made with DuPont Nomex® fiber, exceeds the NFPA 2112 standards and lasts longer than FR treated fabrics, making it a great value. If you’re looking for a cooler fabric with lasting protection, ask for Synergy with AirWeave Technology from Springfield.
AirWeave Technology increases the comfort of traditional Nomex® by making it cooler to keep the wearer more comfortable.
