You’ll lose FR protection only if you lose the garment. Garments made with Synergy® fabric, powered by Nomex® IIIA fiber, provide inherent heat and flame resistance, along with excellent durability — wash after wash. In addition, Synergy will not melt, drip or burn. In chemically treated fabrics, such as cotton/nylon blends, FR protection can wear away over time and may lose flame resistant properties completely when laundered with bleach or other chemicals. Unlike chemically treated fabrics, protection provided by Synergy is built into the fabric, so the inherent thermal protection properties can never be washed out or worn away. Fact is, the inherent FR protection lasts longer than the garment. Synergy fabric protects workers in the petroleum, petrochemical, electric & gas utility industries, as well as the fire service and racing markets, from the heat and flame of flash fire. It meets the NFPA 2112 and NFPA 70E HRC 1 standards and lasts longer than FR treated fabrics, making it a great value.
Synergy is available with AirWeave Technology, which increases the comfort of traditional Nomex by keeping the wearer cooler and more comfortable.
For shirts, pants and coveralls.
Choose from four proprietary finishes: • Freedom – a soil-release wickable finish, keeps the fabric looking like new after numerous washings and rugged use. • Comfort Freedom – a soil-release wickable finish with a softer hand that adds comfort. • SAABA – a premium, soil-release finish that gives the wearer prewashed softness without the loss of protective performance. Superior breathability and optimized moisture management to keep you cooler, drier and more comfortable. • Hydropel – a durable water repellent finish to keep you drier.
