CUTTING REQUIREMENTS

Please read instructions first before cutting. Seam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces.

Blocks

Cut 32 squares 3½” x 3½” from Primrose Hill B. Cut each square once diagonally to make 64 triangles. Cut 64 triangle templates from White Wiltshire Blender. Note: All triangle templates are best cut from a 53/8” strip.

Cut triangle templates from the following printed fabrics:

Border 1

Cut 5 strips 4½” x WOF from City Sights C.

Border 2

Cut 5 strips 7” x WOF from Tulip Triumph C.

Binding

Cut 6 strips 2½” x WOF from Primrose Hill B.

BLOCKS

These instructions are to make 1 block. Refer to the quilt photo for piece placement. Sew a White Wiltshire Blender triangle to a printed fabric triangle. Repeat to make 4 sections. Sew the 4 sections together to make the center of the block. Sew the Primrose Hill B triangles to each corner to finish the block. Refer to quilt photo to know whether to place the Primrose Hill B on the White Wiltshire Blender or printed fabric corners. See diagram below. Repeat to make a total of 16 Blocks.

QUILT CENTER ASSEMBLY

Refer to photo for block placement. Lay out blocks in 4 rows of 4. Sew blocks together to make rows. Sew rows together to complete the center of the quilt.

Borders

Seam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces. Sew side borders first.

Border 1

Side borders should be 36½”. Sew three 4½” strips together end to end. Top and bottom borders should be 44½”.

Border 2

Sew 7” strips together end to end. Side borders should be 44½”. Top and bottom borders should be 57½”. Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back. Bind with the Primrose Hill B strips from the Watercolour Garden Collection by Liberty Fabrics. Have fun with your colors and enjoy the journey of making your quilt.
