CAO FEI SOLO EXHIBITION

7 JUN - 3 AUG

21 SEPT - 16 NOV

In her first UK solo exhibition for a decade Swedish artist Gunilla Klingberg’s installation makes visible the unseen energy grid of ‘curry lines’ that run through the gallery. Large structures, made from ball-chain curtains, create seductive, semi transparent walk-through ‘walls’ and ‘rooms’ throughout the space.

Beijing based Cao Fei is one of the key figures in a new generation of artists emerging from mainland China. This exhibition of new and existing film, sculptural and virtual works reflects on the rapid and chaotic changes occurring in Chinese society today.

Through sculpture, video, drawing and photography, artist Vered Lahav plays upon the notion of ‘The Garden’ to explore conflicting issues around gender, identity, relationships and migration.
