Meet Lucy, designer and senior icer The Biscuiteers icers all work in the grand icing hll at Biscuiteers HQ in London. Our team of icing artists often come from creative background in art and design and have honed their icing skills at our school to become fully-fledged Biscuiteers.
How did you become a Biscuiteer?
I was a graphic designer but hated the desk-job lifestyle. I love being creative every day and the pleasure of making everything my hand.
What’s your favourite part of the job?
Our biscuits spread a lot of happiness. It’s brilliant reading the lovely reviews and knowing we’ve relly made an impression. I feel very lucy to work with such a fantastic team. We love the more unsusual requests we get - we’ve even helped with a few marriage proposals over the year!
What does your day look like?
I’m a biscuit designer so most of my day is spent creating bespoke designs. We work with some amazing brands - the fashion designs aremy favourites. As a team we make around 4,000 biscuits a day and get through over 200 bags of icing. Every day is a bit of an icing adventure
