STREAM

At Bishop Miege we have implemented a STREAM curriculum with the integration of Religion and the Arts into STEM content areas. STREAM responds to career readiness for the current generation. A cross-integration of curriculum for deeper learning with technology and collaboration, merging 21st century teaching and learning with the timeless truths of faith and beauty in all of the subject areas.

In every class teachers are asking students to solve real problems using project and problem based learning as well as design thinking methods.

• Our PLTW Engineering and Computer Science classes utilize a project based curriculum that challenges students to solve real world problems leveraging the latest equipment, software and curriculum.

• The peer mentoring program teaches communication and leadership skills.

• A Math Hub staffed with a dedicated instructor is available to all students throughout the day.

• Students compete in state and national competitions in the areas of robotics, scholars bowl, ecybermission, photography and more.
