DENNIS MEYER, ’58 , has been named the North Dakota state director/ coordinator for the SCORE chapters in Bismarck-Mandan, Minot, Grand Forks and Fargo. He is the immediate past chairman of the Bismarck-Mandan chapter of the Service Corps of Retired Executives.
RICHARD “DIGGER” KOHLER, ’65 , accepted an award in the “Experimental Film” category at the 2015 People’s Film Festival in Harlem, N.Y., for his drama, “An Interview with Martin Light.” Kohler also recently screened his trilogy of blues documentaries at Intermedia Arts in Minneapolis, Minn.
GARRY REDMANN, ’69 , former BSC photography instructor and now retired from North Dakota Department of Transportation, took the photo of the buffalo used for the new North Dakota vehicle license plates.
WILLIAM (BILL) KNUDSON, ’75 , retired from Basin Electric Power Cooperative, Bismarck, N.D.
CELESTE LILLY, ’79 , received the National Association of Disability Examiners (NADE) 2015 Examiner of the Year Award. Lilly works at the North Carolina Disability Determination Services in Raleigh, N.C.

Volleyball
The BSC volleyball team had an outstanding season. They fi nished as co-Mon-Dak Conference champions with a record of 7-1. Their overall season record was 27-8. BSC coach Jeni Walsh was named Mon-Dak Conference Coach of the Year and sophomore outside hitter Chai Pappa was selected as Mon-Dak Conference and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XIII MVP. Sophomore middle hitter Addie Eamon was recognized as Mon-Dak All-Conference and All-Region XIII, and freshman outside hitter Lachelle Bumgarner as All-Region XIII.
MEN’S SOCCER
The men’s soccer team fi nished the season 4-7 overall and sophomore goalkeeper Gage Wolt was selected All-Region XIII.
MEN’S AND WOMEN’S GOLF
Freshman Connor Hellman was selected All-Region XIII and qualifi ed for the National Golf Tournament in June 2016.
Freshman Aimee Kittilson was named All-Region XIII and qualifi ed for the National Golf Tournament in May 2016. BSC Coach Michael Herzog was named NJCAA Region XIII Coach of the Year.
