Registration Review Dates & Deadlines ACTION ITEMS 1. Review the Dates & Deadlines Schedule and the Academic Calendar Mark add, drop, and refund deadlines on your calendar. •

Match up the Begin and End Dates listed on your class schedule with the Dates & Deadlines Schedule.

BSC provides all important dates and deadlines in two documents. •

Academic Calendar – lists school dates, such as textbook purchasing, tuition deadlines, and school breaks. Dates and Deadlines Schedule – lists classes by length as well as the add, drop, and withdraw deadlines. It also includes the last day to drop/withdraw for 100% tuition refund.

Registration Sharing Information ACTION ITEMS 1. Decide if you want to share your academic or financial records with anyone else. This can be a parent, spouse or employer/funding agency. •

Delegated Access to CampusConnectionAllows you to give access to selected sections of CampusConnection to a third party, or proxy. For example, your parents could log in to help you pay your bill or to view your grades. FERPA Release-is a legal document allowing the release of certain information (Academic and/or Financial) to listed individuals.

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) prohibits Bismarck State College from releasing academic and financial records to anyone without written consent from you. If you would like anyone, such as parents/guardians, employers and/or Third-party funding agencies to have access to your academic and/or financial information complete the FERPA form to authorize the release.

After Registration Obtain Mystic Card

ACTION ITEM 1. Obtain your Mystic ID Card

The Mystic card is your official college identification card to be used for services such as dining, bookstore purchases, library, campus activities, local business discounts, Aquatic and Wellness Center and Mystic Print. There is no charge for the first Mystic ID Card. ID cards do not expire as long as you are a BSC student. Get your Mystic Card at the Campus Information Desk located next to the BSC Bookstore in the upper level of the Student Union. (701-224-5677) Students must present: • • •
