Este artigo é resultante da colaboração entre as pesquisas de Doutorado de Camille Reiss e Cauê Capillé. Em seu Doutorado, Capillé recebeu bolsa da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES ) e Reiss, bolsa da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES ) e, em seguida, da Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (FAPERJ ). Capillé is an architect, professor at FAU /UFRJ and researcher at PROURB FAU/UFRJ . He holds a PhD in Architecture (The Bartlett, UCL , London, 2016), Bachelor in Architecture (FAU / UFRJ , Rio de Janeiro, 2011) and Photography (EAV Parque Lage, Rio de Janeiro, 2006). His thesis was shortlisted for the RIBA President’s Awards for Research (2017). Co-author of Rio Metropolitano (2013), which received Honorable Mentions (ANPARQ 2014 Prize, IX Ibero-American Biennial and IAB Annual Prize), and was exhibited at the X Bienal Internacional de São Paulo. Camille Reiss is an architect urbanist, professor at ENSA Paris-Malaquais and a PhD student at PROURB FAU/UFRJ ; EDV T T UPE; ENSA Paris-Malaquais. She holds a research Master in Architecture (PUC -Rio, 2016) and a Bachelor in Architecture (ENSA Paris-Malaquais, 2009). She co-funded an architecture office called SuperTropic Architecture, which received honorable mentions for innovative projects.
