malaika arora sustains injuries and rushed to hospital after meeting with car accident near mumbai

BOllyWOOD starlet Malaika Arora on Saturday met with a car accident near Mumbai following which she was rushed to Apollo hospital. The actor-model sustained minor injuries in an accident after three vehicles rammed onto each other. The front and last vehicles were tourists cars whereas Malaika Arora was in her Range Rover when the accident took place.

Malaika Arora was reportedly attending a fashion event on Saturday and was returning home. Police inspector Shirish Pawar from Khopoli police station told Hindustan Times, "The accident happened at the 38km point on MumbaiPune expressway which is an accident-prone area. Three vehicles rammed onto each other and all three vehicles have received damages. The motorists drove away immediately after the accident and hence what kind of injuries have been received is not clear. We are told that all have received very minor injuries."

Meanwhile, Malaika Arora was recently seen on India's Got Talent as a special guest.

tV actors Dheeraj Dhoopar and Vinny Arora are soon to become parents. This is the first time they will be embracing parenthood. The couple was very excited to share the news with their loved ones and the fans.

The couple had fallen in love during the shoot of their show and after dating for several years, they tied the knot in 2016. Dheeraj Dhoopar shared the news on social media with a beautiful post with him and Vinny kissing as she held the sonography photos of the baby in her hands. He shared that they will be embracing parenthood by August this year. In the pictures shared by the actor, the couple is seen beaming with joy as they shared the news with everyone. He captioned, "We’re expecting a tiny miracle in August 2022".

The duo met on the sets of their show Mata Pitah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg in 2009. The couple dated for nearly 7 years and then decided to tie the knot.

lAst year, there were reports that Ajay Devgn plans to make a big-budget entertainer after the release of Runway 34. Bollywood Hungama has found out that the plan is very much. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “The pre-visualisation work has already begun, even while Ajay Devgn is giving finishing touches to Runway 34. Once the aerial thriller is out, he’ll give more prominence to this venture.”

Usually, Ajay Devgn takes a gap between his directorial projects. His debut directorial, U Me Aur Hum released in 2008 followed by Shivaay, 8 years later, in 2016. There has been a six-year gap between the releases of Shivaay and Runway 34. This is the first time in his career that he’ll be directing almost back-toback.

Shedding more light on this film, the source revealed, “It’s going to be very high on VFX. The budget is expected to be around Rs. 400 crore and hence, it’ll be the costliest film to come out of Bollywood. Ajay Devgn and his team have fiercely been secretive about the plot and genre, but there are murmurs that it has a mythological touch.”

The source continued, “The pre-production work will go on for more than a year. Ajay Devgn plans to go on floors only in the second half of 2023. Meanwhile, he’ll complete all his pending acting projects like Bholaa, Drishyam 2, Singham 3 etc.”

After Runway 34, Ajay Devgn’s next release would be the sports biopic Maidaan. This will be followed by the social comedy Thank God, which in all probability, will be the superstar’s last film this year.

A trade expert stated, “Ajay Devgn is riding high currently and is at the best phase of his career. With the box office expected to get bigger after the pandemic, his Rs. 400 crore dream project can emerge as a huge hit, if content clicks. Moreover, it sounds like a film fit for the big screen and such films are being patronized the most in cinemas by moviegoers in the post-Covid era.”

arjun rampal and Purab Kohli to star in investigative thriller series london files

lONDON Files is an investigative thriller series that follows homicide detective Om Singh, played by Arjun Rampal, as he takes on a missing person’s case in a politically divided London city. Battling his own personal demons, Om is forced to take on the case of media mogul Amar Roy’s missing daughter. Amar, played by Purab Kohli, is a divisive figure in London due to his support of a draconian anti-immigration bill. As Om starts to investigate the case, a darker mystery comes to light. One that threatens to expose buried secrets and Om’s repressed past.

Packed with edge-of-theseat drama and suspense, London Files also stars Sapna Pabbi, Medha Rana, Gopal Datt, Sagar Arya, and Eva Jane Willis among others in key roles.

Directed by Sachin Pathak and produced by Jar Pictures, the six-episode series is all set to premiere on 21st April only on Voot Select.

Zoya akhtar’s archie comics adaptation starring suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor and agastya nanda to kick off 40day schedule in ooty

BACK in August 2021, it was rumoured that Zoya Akhtar is planning to launch Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda in the industry with Archie comics Indian adaptation. The news was confirmed in November 2021 by Netflix but only the adaptation part and not about the cast. Netflix, in collaboration with Archie comics, will bring a coming-of-age story that will introduce the teenagers of Riverdale to a new generation in India. It is a live-action musical set in 1960s India, the film will be directed by Zoya Akhtar.

The shoot for the same began in Mumbai earlier in March 2022. Khushi Kapoor, who plays Betty Cooper, was seen in a plaid sweater vest over a shirt and a mini skirt donning brunette hair with bangs whereas Suhana Khan, who will essay Veronica Lodge, was dressed in casuals. Agastya Nanda aka Archie Andrews, was donning a t-shirt with pants and with brown-reddish hair. Now, the shoot will move to Ooty. According to a publication, the principal cast and core members of the team kicked off the schedule in Ooty last week. It will be a 40-day schedule after which an extensive schedule will begin in Mumbai in June.

Earlier, talking about this collaboration, director Zoya Akhtar said, “I am super excited to have the chance to bring The Archies to life. It was a large part of my childhood and teenage years. The characters are iconic and globally loved, which is also why I am a little nervous. I have to make sure the film stokes the nostalgia of a generation that grew up on the comic and yet resonates with the young adults today.”

The Archies, a feature film adaptation of the comics will be produced by Tiger Baby (Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti) and Graphic India (Sharad Devarajan) and will premiere exclusively on Netflix.
