S p e e c h & D e b a t e

The Speech and Debate Team has competed at several contests since the last newsletter. They have completed their qualifying season with over 30 students qualifying for the regional contest in March. They also brought home trophies at every contest they have competed in this year, including a first place finish at the highly-competitive Tulsa Union contest.

Bixby High School Speech and Debate Team hosted the first in-person Green Corn Classic Tournament since 2020 this February. Twenty students and half a dozen parents volunteered and made the event highly successful. Special thanks to Curtis Lowry for helping organize the event from the beginning of the planning process.
