BJ Adaptaciones was created in 2002, when Joaquín Romero, who lives with multiple sclerosis, decided to combat the disease and become deeply committed to this endeavor. Joaquin and his brother Borja, both technical engineers, decided to improve Joaquin’s quality of life by automating his home. This became their first project and consolidated their mission to offer solutions to people who suffered from a disability. Since 2013 BJLive is the brand we use for our manufactured products, which we hope can be available all around the world. This switch consists of a padded bar 11 cm long that can be moved in any direction. It is one of the most universal switches as it can be activated by different parts of the body and in different positions. The output od this switch is activated by moving the bar in any direction or pressing downwards. The internal “click” gives auditory feedback to the user when the switch has been activated. When the pressure stops, the bar returns to its original position with no bouncing.

BJ Control SHX The BJ Control SHX application, which is included in the SHX Central, allows you to create simple templates to control your environment in a simplified manner and design interactive media activities. Create a collection of scenes with multimedia ambiences to tranform your surroundings into a world full of interactive possibilities. What scenes can you find in SHX

A scene is a part of a collection comprised of a set of actions that can be performed in a “chain reaction” or all together at the same time. A scene can be as simple as playing a sound or much more sophisticated like playing a video, turning on devices like bubbles makers and changing the colours of the room and the bubble tubes simultaneously. Each scene may include a combination of the following commands:

SHX controllers SHX Controllers allow you to choose the ambience in your the room, by changing the lighting, the image, the sound and the activation of different elements according to the scene settings in the SHX Central device. SHX Controllers can be used by professionals to determine the configuration of the room and any of its elements or by users to cause and effect activities, choice-making, communication, learning and leisure.
