COOL STUFF TO KEEP YOU ON THE MOVE

Time is flying. The supermarkets are stocked up with Halloween costumes, fireworks and Christmas gifts, meaning it feels like we’re already saying goodbye to 2021. So take some time out to feast your eyes on this little lot of marvels...

Makka Polestar Edition POA

SWEDISH electric motorcycle creator Cake has already created its Makka – an electric bicycle with a classically Scandinavian design. Now it’s teamed up with Polestar to create a special-edition version.

Called the Makka Polestar Edition, it’s got some of the features you’d expect to find on a Polestar car such as Ohlins dampers and a white colour scheme. Plus, hook it up to the Polestar 2 and it can be charged while being carried on a custom bike rack.

Seat eScooter 125 £4,996

SEAT might be better known for its range of cars, but in recent times it has expanded into wider mobility with a series of electric scooters. Now, however, it’s going in at the deep end with a proper 125cc-equivalent electric eScooter.

It’s nippy enough, with a 0-31mph time of 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 59mph. It’ll also travel for up to 85 miles on a single charge, while the batteries themselves can be removed entirely and charged either at home or work.

Dropless waterless clean

Aston Martin DB5 Junior from £22 £90,000

CAR washing uses a lot of water meaning a big impact on the environment. A way to combat this is through waterless cleaning, which uses a combination of nanochemicals and very clean cloths to get your car back to a sparkle.

Dropless offers just such a service – and it’s all done online. Fire up the app, book in a cleaning time slot and a Dropless technician will travel to wherever your car is and get it back to a factory finish. EVERYONE’S going Bond-mad with the release of the latest instalment in the franchise, No Time To Die. If you fancy getting a slice of the big-screen action on a small scale, there’s the Aston Martin DB5 Junior.

At £90,000, it’s hardly a budget purchase, but the Junior features an incredible level of attention to detail.

It’s even got working gadgets and, because it’s been designed as a convertible, big kids can ride along in it as well.
