Legislation written in response to the murder established the current Iowa Bureau of Criminal Investigation’s predecessor. Join us as documentarian and filmmaker Kelly Rundle discusses the background and research he conducted as he combined rare period photographs, startling computer animation, original art, limited re-enactments and fascinating interviews with historians, eyewitnesses, town residents and forensic experts to shed light on the spellbinding mystery and to dramatically reveal the face of a new suspect.
