Fourth quarter has arrived, which means it is time for the annual Monte Vista musical. The Monte Vista Drama team put together an amazing musical called All shook Up! This musical features music by Elvis Presley and is based on William Shakespeare’s play Twelfth night. It is about a motorcycle-rider named Chad who rides from town to town with a guitar on his back. Towns come alive under Chad’s influence. This was a magical play that truly got you singing and dancing along to the beat. I can’t wait to watch the upcoming comedy play in April!
All the Mustangs got together to celebrate our school spirit during our annual winter rally. The whole school got together in the gym and had a great time watching our cheerleaders and band put on an amazing performance. We also enjoyed watching a handful of students participate in fun mini games, such as cup stacking or hitting a piñata. Rallies always allow students to feel proud of their school and feel part of a family.
Winter is sadly coming to an end, but spring is slowly approaching. I love traveling to Tahoe and enjoying amazing powder days! Spring, however, has its pros as well. I cannot wait for the sunny days and the beautiful flowers. Most importantly, I can’t wait for spring break!
