Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss Celebration

Don’t miss your favorite Dr. Seuss stories, fun and zany crafts, and many more surprises! Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Though the Dr. Seuss birthday party is for children aged 4-9, we understand that sometimes your younger children love Dr. Seuss just as much as your 4-9 year old. The Town of Danville and the Danville Library will allow your 1-3 year old to attend with their older sibling at a discounted rate. Parents are required to attend with their child(ren). Local author Kara Navolio will read her new picture book Maggie Discovers the Rainbow, a magical colorful adventure. There will also be a special presentation by the illustrator, Tracie Timmer, discussing how the process of illustrating picture books works. Activities for kids, book signing and refreshments. Story time at the Bedford Gallery

A special story time will feature a reading of the new picture book “Maggie Discovers the Rainbow” by local author Kara Navolio, followed by an art project by local children’s book illustrator Tracie Timmer and an opportunity to enjoy the color immersive experience of the Bedford Gallery’s current exhibition Erin Fong l The Sensation of Color. Last day to see this colorful exhibit.
