There’s a new artist on the rise in the world of R&B and she has the voice and the talent to make a very big impact. Her name is Marisol Rubio. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Marisol during the behind the scenes photo shoot at her “Haters” video shoot.

As we traveled between different shoot locations, we had a few minutes to chat. We discussed a variety of topics and issues especially related to the “Business”. Marisol may look young and but she is well versed with how the world works and the ups and downs of life at age 19. She is very aware of the many pitfalls of this industry as well. She realizes that some may try to take advantage of her youth and beauty for their own gain and try to manipulate her into straying off of her well defined path. I will say, they will be sorely mistaken. This little powerhouse singer knows who she is and where she want to go as a person and as and artist. We discussed her short and long term goals as a person and as an artist.
Marisol has already formulated a templa for success and longevity in th “Business”...she knows the value of bran ing and taking full advantage of being d verse. She sees singing as a gateway many other interests and opportunities. Sh knows that branding herself is an import a tribute when seeking diversity in the ente tainment world. Music, Movies and Clot ing are her trifecta and maybe a perfum line to boot. Why not? She is focused an talented enough at such a young age to pu off all three.

n front of the cameras. We discussed the importance of maximizing every opportunity in ront of the camera. Realizing that each opportunity is a chance to increase her brand. She lso realized that no one ever knows which photo or video would be that key to the next oor or opportunity to advance to next level. I’m sure that this determined young lady will ot only conquer this fear, but she’ll be able to turn it to her advantage.
aving the best for last...I was pleasantly surprised at the fact that this young lady has a ery unique ability to sing so beautifully and so effortlessly. As we both were checking ur phones (as we all do in this business) she just began to sing quietly to herself... I didn’t ven ask her to sing she just sings like the rest of us breath, with no effort or thought; it’s ust as natural as breathing to her. And boy can she sing!!!

Now you are back and sucked into another bad date after another bad date and then you luck up! Halo is formed to this new person who helps you forget about the old love you once had. You are so head over heels in love. So quickly to jump back into this relationship you become blinded by the signs that your new love may not be completely over their old love. While simply unintentionally masking where their true heart is or are they? Here are some tell tell signs that you are definitely playing the role of a rebounder: Do you find your new “soul mate” talking a little too much about what his/her ex used to do or what they didn’t do? Being compared to an ex is never a good sign either way it goes. Or has your new partner recently broken up with their ex a few months ago? Being a relationship junkie never gives the heart a chance to heal? Also you still don’t really know what you’re wanting out of your next relationship.

Continued from….20. There might be things you need to work on personally so when that next relationship presents itself you don’t make the same mistakes. First realize that you have to find and take time for you and not rush to say to someone I’m so into you? Really!!! Is it all about you or are they so used to being with someone they don’t know how to be without??? What about he/she just can’t seem to make that commitment with you? You act as if you are in a relationship and everyone around seems to approve so why is it so hard for a commitment to be made? Failure to commit to a person you believe feels the same way as you is a huge problem. The hardest pill to swallow is the ex is still considered a “friend”. No they are NOT!!! If the ex broke up with the person you are currently in a relationship with they know everything about you, your flaws and your new relationship. You will ultimately find yourself in a lose-lose situation. Do you see how a rebound relationship can catch you by surprise? I know it makes you shake your head to know that something that seems so perfect is not really what you thought. Is it intentional to make the ex jealous or are you trying to pick up the pieces of a broken heart using your heart as a dust pan?
Only you can answer these questions with your own experiences, but these helpful hints can be a guide to make you think so this doesn’t happen to you again. Remember if it seems too good to be true most times it isn’t or has some serious kinks in it. Be true to yourself and true to what you want and the rest will work itself out.

In part one I discussed the three attributes that women seek in finding a man. The first is to ensure that they laugh. Next is being honest and finally is to supply the attention and respect that a woman needs. These are find qualities to have as a man and much more for a man that seeks true love from a partner. When men are at the point that they seek not to be alone any longer they make changes and take more chances than ever before in their lives. It is at this stage in their lives they start to mature. Women I would like to state one fact that you should know. When a man is really seeking to b in your presence and he shows you he is interested please be honest to him and let him know if his efforts are for not. You too know that it is hard to find someone, so please be honest and tell him that he is not what you are seeking at this time and or put it in your own words but please do not string him along for one second. And if you find something out about this man that seeks your companionship and you feel you do not like what you find, please talk it out with him and remember there is three sides to each story. So now listen to his story. Back to men! Brothers in arms of love, we have our hands full in our search and to assist you more I would like for you to follow a few steps in your search. The first of the three that I will supply you with is to start working out! Do some type of exercise! I not telling you that you should have abs like a male model or movie star, but I am saying women will appreciate you more if you are taking care or your body. Yes I know how hard it is to train and workout. I too have these issues,
but I can say that no woman on earth wants to find a man and then lose him because he passes away because of his health. I just had my year fight with cancer and gained more than thirty pounds do to the steroids I had to take. But I am now semi-working out and have lost twenty of those pounds. When I was heavier I had women to tell me they were not attracted too me at all, and many that already knew me said other offensive things too me. But I felt their words and wanted to get me right for me and not them. Now I feel much better about me and you will too. The second way to assist you is to inform you too start by eating less and eating right which means eating healthier. I know how good the burgers, steaks, burritos and chips are on a Saturday or Sunday when the game is on and or you are out with your friends or family members. All I am saying is cut back on the size of your meal. I suggest to help you do this is to not use plates use bowls and I mean a small bowl. Whatever fit in that bowl you devour! Then do not go back for seconds. You will see your appetite go down and you will start to lose weight. Next do not eat fast food, but fast as much as you can. This helps a great deal. Fasting for GOD is always a great

Also these are emotions and needs that GOD our father has put in you. We have all made mistakes brothers and I for one have too. So take care of you first. Then you can take care of your mate and your family while doing so. Be strong and be wise in your choices, but most of all be a man and you will find your woman!
