Volunteers pitch in By Jackie Lieuwen Houston Today

Children’s Theatre

Jackie Lieuwen/Houston Today

Fifty-eight students from Twain Sullivan Elementary School practiced and presented “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” last Saturday with the Missoula Children’s Theatre from Montana. Students did auditions Monday and four-hour practices all week to be ready for the production Saturday. “[The kids] love participating and being in it. It’s something different and something fun,” said Marta Knodle, Missoula actor. “We not only teach them theatre... but we also teach them life skills underneath - a lot of working together as a team to create this big common goal. And the kids really have to step up and learn the lines and songs and everything to make it possible,” Knodle said. “The kids are doing really great, and they’re really excited,” she said.

Armed with rubber gloves and garbage bags, local schools and volunteer groups are together for Pitch In Week, cleaning up garbage across town. Colleen Johnston, Administration Assistant at Houston’s Chamber of Commerce, says this is the thirteenth year pitch in has run in Houston, and groups from across town will be out picking up garbage and cleaning things up. Besides the schools, Houston pitch in groups include the Public Library, the District of Houston, the Museum Society, N o r t h w e s t Community College, B.V. Credit Union

and the Houston Seniors, said Johnston. “It’s awesome, because it really helps clean up the community,” said Johnston. Anyone interested in joining pitch in this week can stop by the Houston Chamber of Commerce for bags and gloves.

Election meeting The Chamber of Commerce will sponsor an all candidates meeting at the Community Hall on Tuesday, April 30, 7 to 9 p.m. The public from Houston and area are welcome to come and meet the NechakoLakes candidates for the provincial election. Questions are welcome.

Vocal citizen support keeps re-use sheds open By Walter Strong Black Press

A March 25, 2013 staff report from Janine Dougall, director or environmental services with the Regional District of Bulkley Nechako (RDBN), paints a scene of chaotic scavenging and salvaging at some of the RDBN solid waste management facilities across the region. The report outlines

a litany of refuse-site abuses. Among the abuses are reports of intimidating and aggressive scavengers lingering around re-use sheds to smash and strip otherwise usable or recyclable electronics of their valuable metals, a scrap metal scavenger generating an estimated $50,000 in revenue by dragging scrap metal out of existing metal piles and then selling it, piles

of metal rubbish left precariously unstable by salvaging activity, reports of rummagers hanging-out and consuming alcohol by the re-use shelters waiting for the arrival of fresh cast-offs, RDBN employees intimidated - even attacked in one instance - by confrontational scavengers, and the report of a child run over by a car in the distracting commotion surrounding the re-use shelters.

The child was unhurt, but the RDBN report cautions that children are sometimes left unattended at the re-use shelters while their parents use other areas of the facilities. Those unaccompanied children find shelterinteriors strewn with ‘dirty clothing, broken toys and soiled mattresses’ that never should have ended up in the sheds in the first place. Historically, the

RDBN allowed and encouraged salvaging as a nod towards reusing and recycling. According the report, the rise in the value of scrap metal over the last number of years has contributed to the frenzied escalation of scrap metal scavenging. The increased value of scrap metal has meant a revenue stream for the RDBN, with approximately $485,000 of income

through scrap metal recycling in 2011/12. Despite the grim picture painted by the report, the re-use shelters remain immensely popular with users. At the April 18, 2013 RDBN board meeting, Directors Taylor Bachrach, Carmen Graff and Tom Greenaway each described the strong response they’ve received from members of their electorates regarding the sheds.

IT’S BIG. 0% financing.

Bachrach reported over 99 per cent support for the sheds on an online Facebook poll he conducted to get a feel for public opinion. Graff said that he had never received so many phone calls on an issue. Greenaway stated that he was presented with a 208-person petition in favour of keeping the re-use sheds in operation. DUMP from Page 1 “People love the dump,” said Bachrach speaking of people’s need for salvaging. “We can’t let a small number of people ruin it for everyone else. We need to look at strategies for those small numbers of people who are behaving inappropriately.” Director Stoney Stoltenberg vocalized the sentiments of those who question the wisdom of allowing a basic free-forall around the re-use sheds. Stoltenberg was concerned that the RDBN is creating a lot of unnecessary work for transfer station staff to duplicate recycling options that are already available elsewhere. For Stoltenberg, the re-use sheds started out as a great idea with a lot of volunteer support, but they’ve turned into a kind of feel-good garbage drop-off point. “People just take their junk, throw it out and say, ‘There, I took it to the re-use shed’,” Stoltenberg said. D i r e c t o r s Gerry Thiessen and Greenaway shared Stoltenberg’s concerns regarding the duplication of other local recycling or re-use efforts. The observation was made that in some cases the re-use sheds were actually adding to landfill piles. “People bring perfectly good things there [to a re-use shed] such as a microwave,

only to have some guy, within thirty seconds, rip the cord off [to salvage the copper], and then you’ve got a piece of junk,” said Theissen. “These reuse sheds and our waste transfer stations have been abused by a few individuals, and they’re starting to wreck it for everybody.” Thiessen was concerned that despite a vocal contingent of salvagers signing petitions and responding to online polls, the public support for the re-use shed may be much less than presumed. Greenaway suggested that clothing and small appliances could go to local thrift shops, rather than being left in re-use sheds where staff have to potentially deal with a mess. In the end, a motion was approved that gives the re-use sheds a continuance. The three-part motion directs RDBN staff to investigate ways to address the problems associated with salvaging activities; to investigate adding additional staff to deal with the re-use sheds; and to ban large scale commercial metal salvaging. Thiessen was the sole vote against the motion. He maintained that the re-use sheds, although well-intentioned, have not worked out as intended and take away from existing reuse options like local thrift stores.

In our opinion:

Iron Lady’s politics survive to this day M

argaret Thatcher was the woman who began the shift to the right that has affected almost all the countries of the West in the past three decades. She died in London on April 8, 34 years after she became Britain’s first female prime minister and 23 years after she was driven from office, at the age of 87. It is an open question whether even the crash of 2008 and the ensuing prolonged recession have finally ended the long reign of her ideas in Western politics. “This woman is headstrong, obstinate and dangerously self-opinionated,” wrote some minion in the personnel department of British chemical giant ICI, rejecting young Margaret Roberts’s application for a job as research chemist in 1948. She was fresh out of Oxford University, 23 years old, brimming with self-confidence, and absolutely full of opinions. She probably frightened the job interviewer half to death. But she did land a job with a plastics company in Colchester in 1949. She joined the Conservative Party and stood for parliament in the 1950 election (she was the youngest candidate ever), and married businessman Denis Thatcher in 1951. Margaret Thatcher, as she then became, made it into parliament in 1959. She entered the cabinet of Conservative Prime Minister Edward Heath in 1970 as the “statutory female” (as he gallantly put it). But she had the last laugh in 1975, replacing Heath as party leader after the Conservatives lost the 1974 election. She took a very hard line from the start, both in domestic and in foreign politics. Her open hostility to the Soviet Union led a Soviet newspaper in 1976 to dub her the “Iron Lady”, a title in which she reveled. Her real impact, however, was in British domestic politics, where she broke the welfare-state consensus that had dominated all the major parties for the previous thirty years. “It is our duty to look after ourselves,” she said, and the political orthodoxy trembled before her onslaught. That was what carried her into office in the 1979 election, and as prime minister she acted on her convictions. After she won the Falklands War against long odds in 1982 her popularity was unassailable, and she used it to break the power of the trade unions and privatize state-owned industries. She virtually made free-market ideology the state religion. So it remained for 30 years, long after her harsh and confrontational style had lost her the support even of her own party. She was ousted as Conservative Party leader and prime minister by her own colleagues in 1990, but the Labour governments of 1997-2010 were also in thrall to her ideas. Their influence abroad, particularly in the United States, was equally great. Yet her greatest contribution to politics, and the foundation of the right’s political success over recent decades, was not ideological but tactical. She was the first politician to grasp the fact that with the decline of the old working class, it had become possible to win elections on a platform that simply ignored the wishes and needs of the poor. There weren’t as many of them as there used to be, and the poorest among them usually failed to vote at all. This insight was key to the success of President Ronald Reagan in the 1980s, and to the triumph of conservative parties in many European countries. It continues to be a major factor in the calculations of parties both on the right and on the left down to the present day: you cannot count on the poor to win an election for you. Margaret Thatcher was made a baroness after she relinquished her seat in the House of Commons in 1992, and continued to sit in the House of Lords until ill health forced her to withdraw from public life entirely in 2002. She suffered from dementia in her last years. Her influence lives on, at least for the moment, but it may not last much longer. The powerful middle class on which she founded her political strategy has been hollowed out by the very success of the free-market policies she promoted. Once you allow for the effects of inflation, average middle class income in the United States, for example, has not grown at all in the past three decades. The time may be coming when gaining the votes of the poor, including the growing numbers of the “new poor”, will once again be essential to win elections. By Gwynne Dyer (London, England)

Deep down, here’s the difference At a recent convention in Las Vegas I asked some American businessmen what they thought the difference was between Americans and Canadians. After teasing me about my accent – which I’m sure I don’t have – and the word “eh,” which I don’t recall using, one of them said something they all agreed with. “If an American tells you to call them when you’re in town, they don’t really mean it,” he said. “ If a Canadian tells you the same thing, they won’t just meet with you, they’ll pick you up at the airport, invite you to stay at their home, and introduce you to their whole dang family. Including their smelly old dog.” The other men laughed and discussed similar scenarios, confirming their belief that Canadians

are more sincere and hospitable than they are. “Aint that the truth?” one of them said immediately. “We have good intentions, but we’re too busy, or maybe just too rude to follow through.” I was surprised by their comments because I’d always found Americans to be exceptionally friendly. I was also planning on visiting L.A. in a few days to connect with some pals, so I wondered if the men’s theory would play out for me the way they described. I suspected it might when I checked for replies to my emails, and only found one. “Where are you staying?” my friend responded. “I’ll pick you up and we’ll paint the town red!” Interestingly, of the seven L.A. people I had contacted, Jenn was the only one originally from

Canada. She even offered her apartment to me the next time I was in town. I was disappointed that I hadn’t heard back from anyone else, but since I’d been struggling with feelings of depression and anxiety the four days that I’d been in Vegas, I felt like being a loner anyway. And just to be clear, the trip itself wasn’t the cause of my heavy heart, the timing of it was just unfortunate. Being in the over-stimulating playground for adults actually provided some temporary distractions from my worries. On the fifth day I caught a ride with my business partner to L.A. and couldn’t wait to get there. Not because of my newer friends that I could potentially connect with, but because of one older friend that I knew I would see for sure: the Pacific Ocean.

2009

With a desperate desire to see it, I asked around and it was recommended that we go to the Santa Monica Pier. It was love at first sight. Its long boardwalk – full of vendors, eateries, artists and rides – was a joy to walk around. But it was the water itself that I sought solace in, and I reveled in the experience of dipping my toes into the cold cleansing sea. I’ve always found the ocean to be incredibly healing, and I’ve missed the privilege of seeing, smelling and hearing its magnificence whenever I wanted to, like I could when I lived in Vancouver. While still on the beach, I received a text from an L.A. friend. And then another. By the end of my three day visit I’d heard from all seven friends who were responding to my requests to get together. None of

On a brighter note Lori Welbourne them invited me to their house to meet their whole dang family or pet their smelly, old dog, but they certainly proved they weren’t the stereotypical rude Americans described by my new friends from the conference. In fact, some of them proved to be as sincere as any Canadian and as salty as any ocean. The only real difference I noticed was that they say ‘aint’ and we say ‘eh,’ and we make fun of each other for doing it.

search and found that what this person did not tell us in their letter is that, since 1969, mining companies have had to post a sufficient “Reclamation Bond” to ensure that mine sites are restored to natural conditions without the use of taxpayer’s dollars. Prior to the 1969 there were many historical mines that were not fully reclaimed.

And the Government of BC has slowly been reclaiming these former mine sites such as the Mt. Washington mine which was referenced by the letter writer. Since 2002 these reclamation efforts have doubled and remediation is either underway or completed at 58 historic sites. In fact, two of these

sites received special reclamation awards in 2009. Since 1977, BC’s Technical and Research Committee on Reclamation has been working to recognise and a c k n ow l e d g e hundreds of such corporately-funded reclamation projects. So, as you can see, there are a lot of good things happening in BC with respect to

mine site reclamation. I would therefore suggest that the best way for our Provincial Government to raise more money for reclaiming historical mine sites is to maintain the incentives currently in place for mineral exploration. These incentives will result in more mines paying taxes and contributing to the prosperity of

BC while also ensuring that the minerals we need for our bicycles, boats, telephones, trains, hospitals, schools, computers, cameras, and just about everything else in the modern world, will continue to be extracted in a safe, sustainable jobcreating way. Bruce Sanderson Vancouver, BC

Chinese bank backs Kitimat refinery

David Black, owner of Kitimat Clean Ltd. and Black Press chairman.

The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, the country’s largest bank, has agreed to take part in financing a large-scale oil refinery proposed for Kitimat. Kitimat Clean Ltd., a company owned by Black Press chairman David Black, announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding Thursday. The agreement commits the bank to “be the Chinese financial advisor to Kitimat Clean and cooperate in the financing of the proposed Kitimat refinery and associated pipelines and other elements,”

Black said in a statement. “ C h i n e s e companies will be involved in the engineering and construction of the refinery,” Black said. “Up to 100 per cent of the output from the refinery is planned to be sold to Asian markets, including China and India.” He added that majority control of the businesses will remain in Canada. Liu Yanping, deputy head of corporate banking, and Huang Jifa, deputy head of investment banking at the Chinese bank, said in the statement: “We are

very pleased to be working toward a comprehensive agreement to finance a refinery in Canada, which is planning to export refined fuels to China and other Asian countries in the future.” Black released a Mustel Group poll in February that found three out of four B.C. residents support the idea to refine crude oil in Kitimat rather than export the raw product, diluted bitumen from the Alberta oil sands, by tanker. The same poll found that 57 per cent respondents opposed the Enbridge

B.C. Views Tom Fletcher Northern Gateway pipeline project. Black has suggested his project may grow to include an alternative pipeline proposal, or oil shipped by the CN Rail line that already connects the Edmonton area with the North Coast.

Police find stolen truck By News Staff Houston Today

At 4:45 a.m. last week Tuesday, police got a report of a possible impaired driver who had gotten stuck in the ditch on Chestnut Road. Sgt. Rose said the person reported three to four people in the truck, who got the truck out and were last seen headed toward Mountainview Drive. Police attended and did not find the truck, but later found it parked in the driveway of a home on Hazel Road, Sgt. Rose said. He said that when police were checking the vehicle, they found that it had been stolen from Burns Lake a day earlier, April 15. Police talked to the occupants of the home where the truck was parked, but did not get any useful informa-

to identify any suspects. *** Police got report at 4 p.m. April 16 that the front door of Fourteenth Street Clair Manor was shattered overnight. Sgt. Rose says police have no suspects and anyone with information is asked to contact Houston RCMP at 250-845-2204 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. *** A male was arrested at 8 a.m. last week Sunday after police were called about a domestic assault at a home on Park Lane. Sgt. Rose says police arrested the male, held him until sober, and charged him with assault and breaching court order conditions. He will appear in court May 6. *** Police got an abandoned 911 call from a cell phone just after noon April 14.

tion. But through investigation and talking to the home owners, four suspects were identified and two adult males were arrested and charged for possession of stolen property. One of the males was also charged with impaired driving and police are still looking for two females who were identified as suspects in the truck. The males will appear in Houston court June 17, said Sgt. Rose. *** At 1:30 p.m. last week Tuesday, police got report of mischief at the Ambassador trailer court, and found that someone had tried to kick in the front door of an unoccupied “for sale” trailer. Sgt. Rose says police talked to neighbours but were unable

Sgt. Rose says that despite requests by police for the caller to wait for police, they left. When police arrived and no one answered the door, they forced entry into the home to make sure no one there needed help, Sgt. Rose said. Police remind people that if they accidentally dial 9-1-1, they need to stay on the line and talk with the 911 call-taker and identify where they are so police can come and confirm that they are okay and don’t need help. *** At 6 p.m. last week Monday, police got report of an erratic driver going eastbound by Six-Mile Hill. Sgt. Rose says they contacted the Burns Lake RCMP who stopped the vehicle and cautioned the driver about driving behaviour but laid no charges. *** At 11:30 a.m. last week Monday, police got report of a residential alarm going off on Elliot Crescent. Sgt. Rose says police went and found that a contractor on site had set off the alarm, and the property owner came and turned off the alarm. *** At 8:45 p.m. April 17, police got report of a disturbance in the hallway at 2035 Sullivan Way. Sgt. Rose says police talked with the people and arrested one male who was intoxicated and in breach of court probation conditions. He was lodged in cells until sober and will appear in court June 17, said Sgt. Rose While at that building, police found a second intoxicated male

who was known to be bound by court order conditions. Sgt. Rose says the male was arrested, lodged in cells until sober and will appear in court June 17. *** At 1 a.m. April 14, police got report of a loud party in Ambassador trailer court. Sgt. Rose says police asked the homeowner to turn down the music, he complied and they got no more complaints. *** At 6:30 a.m. April 12, police got report of an intoxicated male passed out in the ATM of a local financial institution. Sgt. Rose says the male was able to care for himself so police cautioned him about being drunk in a public place and sent him on his way. *** At 6:30 p.m. April 12, police were called to help with traffic control on Six-Mile Hill because several vehicles slid off the road. Sgt. Rose says police found that the sudden snow storm and accumulation of six inches of snow on the highway contributed to the accidents. A tow truck removed the vehicles from the ditch and Lakes District maintenance cleared and sanded the road to prevent further problems, Sgt. Rose said. *** At 1 a.m. April 14, police got an anonymous report that there was underage drinking at a party near the end of Pearson Road. Sgt. Rose says officers talked with a property representative, confirmed that there were no minors present, and left.

Mayor Holmberg, Councillors Brienen and Jolly will be attending the 2013 Minerals North Conference to be held April 24 to 26 in Terrace. The conference theme is celebrating the ‘Northern Network’ – as many communities and businesses throughout northern British Columbia will have to work together to capitalize on the rich potential that B.C.’s natural geography. The conference will host a full trade show, site visits, and a line-up of industry speakers who will provide key insights into the current state of the mining industry and what the future holds in the region. Mayor Holmberg will be attending the BC Mayor’s Caucus, April 29 & 30 in Prince George. The mayors of British Columbia will be participating in this important two-day meeting to discuss pressing issues facing our communities and share best practices. The BC Mayors’ Caucus Steering Committee has structured an intense two-day meeting that will include discussions around identifying key policy issues of common concern across our communities and ‘next steps’ in addressing those issues with other orders of government. Additionally, invitations on behalf of the BC Mayors’ Caucus have been sent to the leaders of BC’s four leading political parties (Liberals, NDP, Green Party and the BC Conservative Party) to present their views on how we can all work together on the challenges facing local governments specific to infrastructure, transportation, and escalating policing costs. The two-day event will include a presentation by David Lindsay, President and CEO of the Forest Products Association of Canada. Mr. Lindsay is the former Chief of Staff for Mike Harris, a former federal Deputy Minster on a number of key portfolios and the President of one of the most respected forestry associations in the world. Mayor Holmberg and Councillors Brienen, Jolly and Potvin will be attending the 2013 North Central Local Government Association conference being held in Quesnel, May 1 to 3. The NCLGA is an association of local governments whose mission is to address local and regional issues, and to move forward initiatives for the benefit of its members as a united group to the Provincial Government.

Forty-five students from Houston Secondary School went down to Rugbyfest in Kamloops last weekend. The group of students grades 8 to 12, made up two fifteens rugby teams: a 24-student boys team and 21-student girls team. The students went down to Kamloops in a packed bus with baggage loaded in two vehicles. Along with two parents and three teachers, the group filled 14 hotel rooms, said Rugby Coach and HSS Principal Scott Jackson. The sevens girls team will hardly unpack before they load up and head out again. The girls are off to Vancouver this weekend for rugby sevens provincials, April 27 and 28.

Local competes in hockey with the best of her age group

F

ourteen-year-old Houston Secondary student Taylor Beck plays almost every sport she can get her hands on, and her specialty is hockey. “I’ve skated all my life,” said Taylor, adding that she’s played ringette since she was little and played hockey since grade five. Early this month, Taylor and Northwest region team won the B.C. Cup in the U16 Female Bantam Tournament. “It’s the best girls hockey in my age group,” Taylor said. “[Winning] was really cool because we are the first Northern team to ever win that tournament,” she added. Out of six regional teams - two from the Lower Mainland, one from Vancouver, a Kootenays North team and an Okanagan North team - the Northwestern team took the win, playing five hard and fast games in the

Duncan tournament April 4 to 7, said Taylor. Taylor says she tried out in January against 54 other girls grades 8 and 9, from Prince Rupert to 100 Mile House and up to Chetwynd. She was one of the 20 girls to play on the Northwestern team, and she says it was pretty exciting. “It was a lot different than what I’ve usually played in… it was a lot faster because it was a whole bunch of the best girls around B.C. playing,” said Taylor. “It was a lot faster speed, but it was a lot of fun,” she said. Taylor says she likes playing sports and being active, and she really really liked playing hockey. She also played hockey in the Winter Games last year, she said. “I really like playing team sports because I like being with people and connecting and making new friends and

Taylor says she plays most of the sports that she can including hockey, basketball, volleyball, rugby, and soccer, and when she can, ringette. Taylor says she’s not sure how next

year will shape up, as she moves into the under 18 category and Houston doesn’t have a rep team, but she hopes to play university or college hockey in the future. “I’m planning to keep playing hockey,” she said.

HOPE forToday Is There Really Hope For Us?

It was hard to believe, seeing the bombs going off in Boston, killing and maiming innocent people as they were watching the runners come to the finish line. How can this be? When will they ever learn? How can human beings do this to other human beings. What has happened to the human race for such things as this to happen? As we watch the news, we see some terrible things happen closer to home on a daily basis like racism, drunken brawls, spousal abuse, armed robbery and murder, to name a few. As I look closer, into my own heart, I am sometimes appalled at things that I think, say or do before I even think of it. Yet we have been created in the image of God. How could people created in the image of God do such things? What has happened? The Bible informs us in Genesis chapter 3, that Adam and Eve, the first people that God created, sinned against God by disobeying Him and choosing their own way instead of God’s way. This resulted in their death both spiritually and physically. It was soon after this that their son Cain killed his brother Abel because he was jealous of him. Sin had entered the human heart, and every human being since that time has inherited this sinful nature, including you and me. Is there hope for us? Can the human heart change? Some 2600 years ago, God informed the Israelites through the prophet Ezekiel, “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.â€? Ezekiel 36:26-27 NIV In the New Testament he says “I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds ‌. their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.â€? Hebrews 10:16,17 NIV How can this happen? It happens through faith in Jesus Christ who came to save us from ourselves, from our desperate state of rebellion against him. Again the Bible tells us “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.â€? John 1: 12 NIV. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.â€? John 3:16 NIV “And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.â€? 1 John 3:23 NIV. Premier Christy Clark formally began the B.C. election campaign Tuesday with a visit to Lieutenant Governor Judith Guichon to end the current government and begin a 28-day run to form a new one. Clark began with the claim that the May 14 vote is “a choice that will do nothing less than define our province for another generation,” and quickly went on the attack against NDP leader Adrian Dix. “I can’t remember a campaign where the choices are as stark as this one, where we have a chance to grow government, grow taxes, kill the opportunity for liquefied natural gas exports, or we have the chance to shrink government, grow the economy, lower taxes and pay off the debt for our kids,” Clark told reporters outside

Government House in Victoria. The NDP has supported LNG exports, but wants to extend B.C.’s carbon tax to natural gas drilling emissions that would add up to $100 million more a year. Clark suggests taxes and royalties from LNG exports should go toward a “prosperity fund” that could pay off B.C.’s debt in 15 years. B.C. Conservative leader John Cummins has emphasized that B.C.’s debt nearly doubled under the 1990 NDP government, and almost doubled again in the 12 years of B.C. Liberal rule. Dix boarded his campaign bus Tuesday for a series of stops in Vancouver and Burnaby. Cummins and B.C. Green Party leader Jane Sterk are also traveling the province as they prepare for a leaders’ radio debate on April 26 and a TV debate April 29.
