Province remains unmoved by recent resident hunter protest by Tom Fletcher
Hundreds of hunters, some wearing camouflage and blowing duck calls, gathered at the B.C. legislature Monday to protest the share of big-game hunting permits set aside for guide-outfitters and their out-of-province clients. About 300 hunters and supporters attended the rally, bringing petitions with thousands of names to present in the legislature. The largest petition called for
a limit of 10 per cent share of moose and elk allocated for non-resident hunters, and 15 per cent for mountain goats and grizzly bears, prized by trophy hunters. It was the latest of a series of protests that began in December when the government announced an increase of limited-entry hunting opportunities for guide-outfitters. Sean Richardson, president of the Oceola Fish and Game Club in the Okanagan, said
with the resurgence of hunting popularity in B.C., the government is moving in the wrong direction by increasing commercialization of wildlife harvesting. “We need to stop managing a diminishing resource through social management, and we need to start working towards making more wildlife,” Richardson said. Forests Minister Steve Thomson said he understands the principle behind the ongoing protest, but the latest

allocation decision was made after 10 years of discussions with resident hunters and guideoutfitters, and he is not prepared to change it again. When the plan was announced in December, the government estimated that it represented a shift of 168 animals in limitedentry hunt areas from resident hunters to guide outfitters. After resident hunters and the B.C. Wildlife Federation objected, Forests Minister Steve Thomson announced in February that is being adjusted to a shift of about 60 animals to

guide-outfitters. But the protests have continued. B.C. hunters are concerned that the share reserved for guideoutfitters is higher than anywhere else in North America. Under the latest policy for limited-
entry hunts, that share is 20 per cent for elk, 20 or 25 per cent for moose depending on the restricted region, 35 per cent for mountain goat, and 40 per cent for grizzly bears. Open season areas for moose and other
animals remain in the southern Interior and northeast, where anyone can buy a license and tag to hunt. Abundant species such as mule deer, whitetail deer and black bear have no hunting quotas in any part of B.C. Green Party MLA Andrew Weaver introduced legislation Monday that would require non-resident hunters to pack out the edible parts of grizzly bears they shoot in B.C. Trophy hunters should be subject to the same “eat what you kill” rules as resident hunters already face, he said.

RCMP make drug-related arrests On Friday, February 27th, 2015, investigators from the Cranbrook/Kimberley Crime Reduction Unit along with officers from the Cranbrook Detachment and the Police Dog Service executed a search warrant at a Cranbrook residence. As a result of the search, marihuana and morphine as well as paraphernalia associated to drug trafficking were located and seized. In addition to the drugs, police located and seized several weapons from the residence. Three people were located at the residence when police arrived to execute the search warrant. All three were arrested and lodged in Cranbrook RCMP cells. All three suspects are facing charges in relation to drug trafficking and one of the subjects is also facing breach of probation charges for being in possession of
a weapon when prohibited. Two of the subjects were released on a promise to appear for a future court date with the third subject being held to appear before a Judicial Justice of the Peace. On Saturday, February 28th, 2015, as a result of information received, investigators from the Cranbrook/Kimberley Crime Reduction Unit along assistance from Cranbrook Detachment initiated an investigation into certain persons believed to be involved in drug trafficking. As a result, 3 individuals were arrested and a vehicle seized. During the subsequent search of those arrested and their vehicle police located and seized heroin, cocaine and what is believed to be methamphetamines. Also seized were baggies used for trafficking of drugs as well as a quantity of counterfeit
Big response to recruitment drive
“
It was a huge success and we could not have done it without everyone’s involvement,”
Dave Boreen, RDEK South Country Fire Chief
The momentum continues to build in Elko as the RDEK works to establish a new fire service for the community this fall. “We had a fantastic response to the Volunteer Recruitment drive, which just wrapped up,” says RDEK South Country Fire Services Fire Chief Dave Boreen. “In total, we received 37 applications and we will begin training the new recruits within the next few weeks. I am so encouraged by the number of people who are interested in joining the new department and being part of our team.” As part of the Recruitment Drive, the RDEK hosted a community dinner and information session, a second open house, and did a door-to-door campaign with members of the community and Jaffray and Baynes Lake Fire Departments. “I’d like to thank the volunteers from our other South
Country Fire Service departments, the RDEK staff, and the community who assisted with the Recruitment Drive. It was a huge success and we could not have done it without everyone’s involvement.” The new Elko Fire Department is still in the early stages of development. In order to move forward with the service, the RDEK needed to have enough committed volunteers. “Now that we have a good pool of interested volunteers, we can turn our attention to the next steps in the process,” adds Boreen. Once the budget has been adopted this week, the RDEK will begin the process of ordering and the required equipment and constructing a new fire hall. Until all of these pieces are in place, there is no fire protection in Elko. The RDEK hopes to have the fire protection service established in the fall of 2015.
American money. Two of the three individuals were released on a promise to appear for a future court date with the third subject being held in custody to attend court in Cranbrook on Monday morning. Police have
retained the vehicle as offence related property and are considering an application to have the vehicle forfeited through provisions of the British Columbia Civil Forfeiture Act.

10 Neat Things by Top Crop Garden, Farm & Pet
The power of Fairies
1. Through the power of imagination, we can engage into Fairy Gardening. Fairy Gardening or miniature gardening is an addictive activity that is enjoyed by all ages. Viewing life through the eyes of an imaginary creature engages a playful part of life that is sometimes hard to come by. 2. Fairy gardening is a way of creating a magical miniature garden in a container indoors or outside in a garden bed. You can let your imagination run wild when creating a make-believe landscape, turning pint-size plants into huge trees and colourful pebbles into a rock garden. By using accessories like benches, gazing balls and fences, you create an inviting and cozy place for fairies to rest. Who knows: if you build it, they just might come. 3. The first step is to find a theme for your fairy garden. Woodland themes - inspired by ‘Lord of the Rings’ and ‘Tinkerbell’ - are the most popular. With ferns, mosses and wishing wells, clustered around a small cottage, they give a traditional look. 4. There is no need to stop there. Your imagination can take you to different places altogether. How about a beach-themed garden with succulents, sand and umbrellas, or perhaps a tropical paradise with a mass of plants, bark mulch paths and vines climbing up an arbor? 5. Provide a home. If you use a container, make sure it fits the theme you want to capture. A glazed pot in earth tones will fit a woodland theme perfectly. If you want to work with sand and succulents, a terracotta pot might be more suitable. Old-fashioned tea cups, galvanized pails and glass bowls are just some of the other vessels that might work for you. Ideally, the container will have good drainage and you should always use a layer of pebbles under some well-draining potting soil to ensure you can water and fertilize your plants properly. 5. One key to fairy gardening is to maintain the illusion of a miniature world by choosing elements that will remain true to the tiny scale. You should avoid fast-growing plants, such as ivies or vines, because they can get out of hand and take over your quaint scene in no time. Instead, opt for delicate, slow-growing plants and plants that can be pruned back when they do grow too large. 6. Perfect groundcovers, which imitate grass, are mosses and herbs such as thyme. Ferns and miniature conifers can provide that perfect tree-like look, and plants with a shrub-like growth, such as polka dot plants, imitate bushes. Lay out your plantings and then create the scene. Fine bark mulch, small pebbles and colourful sand can be used to create walking paths and glazed tiles or flat stones make a great patio. 7. Make it almost believable. When you have your landscape in place, it is time to put on the finishing touches. Have a look around your home and see if you have any special items you want to incorporate. Maybe you have some pretty rocks you found on a walk or some small shells from your last beach vacation? 8. Fairy Homes can almost be anything. Bird houses can make excellent fairy homes and a small clay pot, half buried on its side and covered in moss and ferns makes a great hobbit hole. There is a multitude of accessories available, from fences to rocking chairs, arbours and birdbaths. A sprinkle of fairy dust will bring it all together. 9. Just get started! A small bowl, maybe a little coffee table and chairs and a few plants will get you going. The imagination will kick in and a creative part of you will unfold. You’ll start seeing potential items for your fairies everywhere. If you need help, drop by your local Garden Centre for ideas and share the passion for explorative minds. 10. Come later in spring, you can take it outdoors and get creative there. Let the magic begin! Till next time… happy fairy gardening.

Stetski to run for NDP MP position for the Advertiser Committed to doing his part to ensure that the Conservative government comes to an end at the next election, former Cranbrook mayor and longtime public servant Wayne Stetski is announcing his intention to run for Member of Parliament for the

the lakes and rivers we love, Stephen Harper’s record is embarrassing for Canadians.” Members of the Kootenay Columbia NDP Riding Association will affirm Wayne Stetski as their candidate to run against the current Conservative MP, David Wilks at their nominating convention on Sunday, March 15, 2015 in Cranbrook. “I’m not just running against Stephen Harper’s record,” continued Stetski. “I’m running
because I believe that the people of this area deserve to be represented by someone who is willing to stand up and fight for their interests. “Since his election in 2011, David Wilks has been heard saying he is not allowed to vote the way his constituents want him to in parliament. He can only vote the way Stephen Harper tells him to, even when his constituents tell him that they strongly disagree. “Democracy is poorly
served by silencing a whole region in this way. The people of Kootenay Columbia deserve better. “There is only one person in parliament whose job it is to represent the people of Kootenay Columbia. I’m going to be that strong voice in Ottawa,” continued Stetski. Members of the public are welcome to join Stetski and the rest of the Kootenay Columbia membership at the Manual Training Centre
in Cranbrook at 1 PM on Sunday, March 15th as he officially kicks off his campaign to bring real representation to this area. “I’m looking forward to a great campaign. It is clear that if we want to defeat the Conservatives in this area we will all need to work together to elect an NDP MP.” Stetski is well acquainted with this riding that covers similar ground to his area of responsibility when he held the position
of Kootenay Regional Manager for the British Columbia Ministry of Environment. “I’ll be travelling throughout this area meeting with people across the riding right through until Election Day. medical system and have never spent a night in the hospital in my entire life. On arrival to the Cranbrook Regional Hospital Emergency Ward, I was immediately taken in to be examined by Doctor Turner. I was very impressed by the calming effect she made on me, her bedside manner, her thoroughness
and mostly (to me) her compassion. For the rest of the day I was subject to a battery of tests from various nurses, doctors and assistants, all of which were very good. I was eventually admitted to ICU about 10 p.m. that evening and given a comfortable bed. The following afternoon my family physician came to see me and
a decision was made to conclude two further tests at home, and my bed could be given to another sick person. I was released that afternoon. To summarize my event, I was very impressed at the care that I received. After I had arrived home, I thought that I would assess my event via the internet. I
typed in ‘Doctor Turner in Cranbrook’ and there she was on Youtube discussing the problem the hospital system has in Cranbrook. How lucky I was to arrive on a slower day and have the perfect staff to look after me. I would invite everyone to go online and send a message to your MLA to rectify this system and help these professional and overworked people,
so they too may have a quality life. I wish to thank all the staff at the Cranbrook Regional Hospital and my family physician, Dr. Rolandi, for your professionalism and compassion that you showed me on February 10, 2015. ~G. Anderson, Cranbrook

To be successful in any business venture (including not-for-profit groups) it takes strong leadership and a bigpicture focus to take the organization to the next level. Over the last two years, EKFH’s Board of Directors has slowly been making changes and implementing new strategies to enhance the growth of the foundation. One of the most impactful decisions was a full rebrand exercise including surveys with internal and external
stakeholders. This included a review of all marketing material to ensure that EKFH’s messaging is specific and pertinent to its mission to support health care initiatives in each East Kootenay community and the region as a whole. A soft launch of the brand rolled out with the 2014 Starlite Campaign. As the foundation moves forward into 2015 with its ongoing work and the critically important ICU Redevelopment Capital Campaign the
new brand, created by Genex Marketing, will become more visible. The image is not the only change as the foundation is currently undergoing upgrades on its website, digital communications wall and Facebook page. The EKFH board consists of a group of community-minded and philanthropic Directors who believe leaving a legacy for future members and representatives is imperative. To that end, EKFH will be bringing on an additional person

This is the second phase of an initiative under the B.C. Early Years Strategy to implement a network of Early Years Centres throughout the province that will provide families with one-stop, convenient access to a range of services and supports, information and referrals. “Our government is committed to supporting preschool children with a range of programs that are designed for their needs,” Kootenay East MLA Bill Bennett said. “Programs and services that have been developed for the
B.C. Early Years Centre in Cranbrook help ensure our region’s children thrive now and throughout their lives.” A key goal is to create a questionnaire, titled Ages and Stages, that allows parents to identify where their children might require extra support, said Kim Levie, assistant director, Community Connections Society of Southeast B.C. “This tool is important to early identification and referral to services that will enhance and support a child’s development,” Levie said.

Minister of Industry, James Moore, will be at an upcoming Cranbrook Chamber luncheon. The Honourable James Moore, federal Minister of Industry will be the keynote speaker at an Extra Special Chamber Luncheon Wednesday March 18 at the Heritage Hotel and Conference Centre. Chamber President Dave Struthers is extremely pleased to have a senior cabinet minis-
ter address the greater Cranbrook business community. “It is vital to the economy that the government works to ensure that Canadian industry is more productive and competitive in the global economy. We are looking forward to Minister Moore outlining the government’s
efforts, successes, and plans going forward.” Industry Canada fosters competitiveness by developing and administering economic framework policies that promote competition and innovation; supports investment and entrepreneurial activity; and instill consumer, investor, and business confidence. Minister Moore has indicated that in addition to the role of his ministry he will speak specifically about the Government’s commitment to expanding highspeed Internet access to rural communities like Cranbrook, and what this means for Canada’s digital economy. Chamber Executive Director David D. Hull has been working closely with local MP David Wilks’s office to coordinate the Minister’s Chamber presentation and is pleased Moore
is taking time from his demanding schedule to meet with the Cranbrook business community. “As the economic and social hub of the East Kootenays Cranbrook plays a vital role in the regional economy and has demonstrable interest in the efforts of the government to advance industry.” The Minister will also discuss priorities to support Canadian families, growing the economy, creating jobs and investment opportunities in British Columbia. The presentation will also provide an opportunity for Chamber Members and Guests to ask questions of the Minister. Tickets for what is certain to be a sold out event our available from the Chamber office by calling 250 426 5914.

Chef Schiller moves up in Stone Soup Challenge
Brought to you by Bill Bennett, MLA. (Kootenay East) Province of British Columbia
3 Facts You Need To Know About...
Photo submitted
Chef Shelby Schiller narrowly defeated Chef Doug Wagner in the last round of the Kootenay Granite Stone Soup Challenge and now goes on to the next round, versus Kathy Morey, the Salvation Army cook. Over the last two weeks seven top chefs from restaurants in Cranbrook and Kimberley went head-to-head in soup-making competition at the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen, using only the donated ingredients on hand. Today, concluding five memorable culinary cook-offs, soup feasts, and chef match-ups, the Salvation Army clients cast their final vote. Chef Doug Wagner of St. Eugene Mission Resort produced a crowd pleaser, preparing a delicious BBQ chicken soup. But it was five votes shy of Schiller’s Tomato Beef Vegetable soup. This means next Wednesday, Chef Shelby Schiller of BJ’s Diner and Creekside Pub in Kimberley will go against Kathy Morey, Salvation Army cook, for the title of Kootenay Granite Stone Soup Chef 2015. “I heard from Doug on Monday that there had been ground beef in the Salvation Army kitchen, so I was hoping it was still there and that I’d find some cabbage today,” said Chef Schiller. “And I did! The soup I made is a family soup that has been passed down through the generations. It was really nice to be part of this event, share my cooking, and get to see people enjoying my soup.” Both Schiller and Wagner were strategic in their approach and wanted to cater to the Salvation Army guest’s taste, which seemed to trend towards hearty, protein-rich soups with distinct flavour. “My goal today was to make something unique
from what I made last week,” said Wagner, who won his initial round with a cheeseburger chowder. “I was surprised at actually how different the foods were today from what was here last week, which really speaks to the volume of meals this kitchen is putting out.” Morey and Schiller will compete at the grand finale event on March 4, noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Prestige Rocky Mountain Resort and Convention Centre. Tickets to the public event are available in two prices: $25 for lunch; or, $45 for lunch and a $20 charitable receipt. They can be purchased with cash at Max’s Place or by calling 250-426-1119. “It was a really good event,” said CJ, a Salvation Army guest who sampled all soups in the competition and cast his vote after every chef challenge. “I liked trying the different soups and it was fun voting on your favourite. I looked forward to coming in for lunch and knew we might get to try something a bit different. I hope we get to have this here again.” The Prestige Rocky Mountain Resort and Convention Centre is sponsoring the final event, as well as providing the Grand Ballroom, staff, and food at no cost, ensuring 100 per cent of proceeds from ticket sales go directly towards the Salvation Army homeless shelter project, as well as the Cranbrook and District Community Foundation general endowment fund, which provides annual grants to local non-profits.

Baie-Saint-Paul, Quebec – Certain car brands are synonymous with certain traits. Say the word “performance,” and you’ll likely get a group of people talking about German engineering. Say the word, “safety,” and chances are a certain Swedish automaker will be at the top of the list. What brands come to mind when you think of an all-wheel drive system? – I’m guessing Japanese, also German but how about

Slipping and sliding safely in snow and ice Hyundai TRACtion) all-wheel drive system of the Genesis did work at getting us out of some sliding situations. As a bonus for 2015, the Genesis sedans come standard with all-wheel drive. So, if you happen to find yourself stuck in a snowstorm, you need not panic. HTRAC also has some cool features associated with it. The AWD control logic is different according to driving mode selection for enhanced drivability and efficiency. For example, with the vehicle set in “Normal” mode, HTRAC defaults to a 40:60 rear-wheel biased torque distribution. The AWD system in Santa Fe models incorporates Active Cornering Control (ACC), an element within the Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) system, which helps the vehicle manage acceleration in a corner. To improve traction and cornering performance, braking force is applied to the inside rear wheel when accelerating through a turn. Casting directors, wardrobe designers and set designers are always recognized for their work in feature films. However, car-casting people are often the real unsung casting heroes. What would “Bullitt” have been without the Highland Green 1968 Mustang 390 fastback? Just as important are the bit-players, the oddball character actors of the movie car world. These are the Jack Elams, Crispin Glovers and the Peter Lorres of movie cars: 1967 Citroen 2CV — “American Graffiti” The Citroen 2CV is a truly strange car. Perhaps the most intentionally minimalist automobile ever to see production, even third-world motorists today would balk at its hammock-like seats and tin can-like appearance. Future writer and pacifist Curt Henderson (played by Richard Dreyfuss), drove this two-cylinder French peas-
The Matador from ‘Man with the Golden Gun’ ant’s car throughout the film. Strangely, the producers used a 1967 model in spite of the fact that the film was famously set in 1962. A forgivable oversight
given the overall excellence of the film and the fact that one 2CV (produced from 1948-90) looks pretty much like the next. 1953 Messerschmitt

KR175 — “The Addams Family” The Messerschmitt KR175 was the product of a company that less than 10 years previous, had been building fighter planes for the Third Reich, including the first jet-powered interceptor. From jet fighters to amusing microcars! This bubble-topped three-wheeler was the ride of the chattering, sentient hairball named Cousin It in the great 1991 re-boot of the Addams Family. 1987 Yugo GV — “Dragnet” After Tom Hanks and Dan Aykroyd lose two previous policeissued vehicles, this was the only car the department would let them have. According to Aykroyd (who did a wicked Jack Webb impersonation), it had been donated to the LAPD by the government of Yugoslavia as a test vehicle “and reflected the cutting edge of Serbo-Croatian technology.” As an aside, the U.S. bombing campaign during the Balkan Wars finally put an end to the Yugo when the factory was levelled. Opinions differ as to the magnitude of this loss to the automotive world.
1974 AMC Matador Coupe — “Man with the Golden Gun” It’s difficult to say what’s stranger, the car or the context. The notion that a James Bond villain with unlimited resources would build a flying car out of an AMC Matador is simply unfathomable in any world other than that of product placement. We like the Matador coupe for its sheer oddness, but the fish-out-of-water aspect of it in a big-budget Bond film is what puts it over the top. 1973 Corvorado — “Live and Let Die” Driven by a Mr. Big henchman (aptly named “Whispers,”) this was a C3 Corvette that was for no apparent reason, customized with Cadillac Eldorado body panels (hence the name Corvorado) by one Les Dunham of Boonton, New Jersey. It pre-dated the Cadillac XLR by some 30 years. The car also made an appearance in the movie “Superfly.” Rob Sass is the vice-president of content for Hagerty Insurance. Learn more at hagerty.ca.

With some financial assistance of the Cranbrook-Fernie Chapter of the Canadian Parents for French, Mount Baker Art 10 and 12 students participated in lessons over three days from Vancouver cartoon artist Julian Lawrence. Students learned and practiced a variety of cartooning skills. Students created a six panel cartoon about themselves at the end of Mr. Lawrence’s visit.
Aboriginal Education News from MBSS On February 12 the Wild Warriors student leadership group ran a very successful Have a Heart campaign to raise awareness of the deplorable conditions in some Canadian First Nations schools. Over the lunch hour, they discussed the issues with staff and students at the school, and collected over 200 signatures on letters they will be sending to Stephen Harper. These students did a great job preparing for and executing their
campaign. The dates are set for the Career/Cultural/ Employment conference for students - the evening of March 10, between 6:00 and 9:00 p.m., there will be a Métis Kitchen Party at the Heritage Inn. Everyone is welcome to join us, there will be live music and dance; lots of fun for the family. The next day students will participate in Conflict Resolution and Team Building workshops. There will be opportu-
nities for participating students to engage in their independent certification plans also. We are happy to see the numbers are currently at the maximum for participants, we have started a waitlist in case there are any changes. The Ktunaxa Nation is offering a Career Fair for students with Aboriginal ancestry, grades 8 through 12, on March 10. Call Jason Andrew at 250489-2464 ext. 3149 for further information.

Film festival embraces everything that is mountain culture by Sarah Kucharski - The Free Press A three-day event that celebrates all aspects of mountain life and culture: That’s what director Brian Bell of the Fernie Mountain Film Festival coins the showings as. “Part of our mandate is not to pigeonhole it for younger people or older people or climbers or skiers. We want to have something for everyone,” said Bell. “We didn’t want it to be a ski film festival, we wanted to highlight other things like the environment and mountain culture.” Bell said it’s a “bit of a process” scouting the films to play at the festival. “We don’t want to be a total copy of the Banff Mountain Festival, but a lot of great films are shown there so we can’t help but copy some. We always try to look for
that mix and variety — a little biking, skiing, paddling and environmental.” The festival also employs tactics to bring together the aspect of their community prior to showing the films. With catering provided by local business Bridge Bistro, locals gathered at tables to discuss and mingle prior to filing into rows of seats for the showing of the films. “We like to have a social aspect where we open the doors early, have local restaurants serve great food and have a social event before the films,” said Bell. The festival’s localizing efforts and focus on community also extended to its premiere night activities by creating a Locals Night and allowing resident attendees to select their favourite film. This year’s winner was the 80s garb-filled,

highlighted was that of Mountain Culture Award winner Megan Lohmann, recognized
for her work with the Fernie Nordic Society. “The nomination pro-
cess for the Mountain Culture Award seeks to highlight local heroes who have put in a lot of volunteer hours to make Fernie a better place,” explained Bell. “Megan is being recognized for the seven years of hard work she has put in to get the Nordic Society going in Fernie,” he said. Lohmann’s participation dates back to 2007, a year after the society was officially formed in 2006. “My involvement ramped up in 2007 with the introduction of the kids program and then the idea developed for creating a place for Nordic skiing,” said Lohmann whose efforts were then channelled into grant writing, fundraising and building relationships within the community to foster the Nordic Society. Lohmann added, “I feel really honoured to be given this award and I feel privileged to have been able to live in Fernie and work with all the people that I work with.” The festival celebrated its ninth year of playing mountain culture films this year and included a lineup of films such as fat bike film Cold Rolled, Enter the Incomappleux which documents the dangerous journey along the Incomappleux River and mountain biking film Be The Trail. College students from the Mountain Adventure Skills Training program assist in putting together the event.

HARPER VICTORIA ANN MUSSO November 24, 2014 – February 22, 2015 Our beautiful daughter Harper was delivered by caesarean section at the Elk Valley Hospital in Fernie on November 24, 2014. Upon delivery, doctors noticed an abnormal distention of her abdomen. Harper was immediately airlifted to the Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary, where further testing revealed stage 4 Neoblastoma. During her brief life, Harper endured chemotherapy, CT scans, biopsies and blood tests in efforts to save her life. On February 14th, we were able to bring Harper home for the first time; a rest period between chemotherapy rounds before returning to Calgary. Sadly, this was not to be; our precious baby girl died at home in our arms on Sunday, February 22nd. God sent you a little Angel But only for a while; She brought a little message, She came to make you smile. He sent you a fighter Her pain we’ll never know; Until God looked down and saw her, To finally take her home. Soar, tiny angel Over the clouds above; Soar, littlest Angel, And go with all our love. Harper is lovingly survived by her mommy and daddy, Stephanie Hutchinson and Gino Musso; grandparents Gary and Darlene Hutchinson and Louie and Sheri Musso; her auntie and uncle, Tasha and Albert Johnson; cousins Heidi and Autumn Johnson; aunties Alyssa and Amanda Musso, and great grandparents Cliff and Joyce Hutchinson, Jim and Sue Pidgeon, Irene Nadain and Norm and Rosemary Meadows.
