COOKIES IN A JAR
YOU WILL NEED: PER JAR Empty Jar & Lid Circle of Material Elastic Band Ribbon Label{s} 75g Plain Flour ¼ tsp bicarbonate of soda ¼ tsp baking powder 75g of soft light brown sugar 50g of caster sugar 50g of chocolate chips/ fudge 50g of Oats/ Almonds
COOKIES IN A JAR: WHAT TO DO 1. Layer your ingredients in alternative ‘colours’ starting with the flour, bicarbonate of soda & baking powder, followed by the brown sugar, white sugar, chocolate chips and almonds. {pack down into the jar as you go} 2. Screw on your lid and place your material circle on top of the lid {centred}, secure in place with your elastic band. 3. Tie your ribbon on over the elastic band. 4. Depending on the type of label you have chosen { pre-print/ draw} your message on the front and stick or tie to the jar adding the directions for baking to the rear or the label/ the jar.
COOKIES IN A JAR: DIRECTION FOR BAKING 1. To make cookies, preheat oven to 190C. 2. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. 3. Empty jar into a large bowl. 4. Add butter, egg and vanilla. {not included} Stir until well combined. 5. Shape tablespoon sizes of mixture into balls and place on baking trays approximately 5cm apart. 6. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, swapping trays halfway during cooking, or until edges are lightly browned. 7. Turn biscuits onto a wire rack to cool. 8. Serve.
FLAVOURED AND COLOURED SUGAR CUBES

YOU WILL NEED 1 cup sugar 1 tbsp water Food colouring 1/8 tsp flavouring (optional) Plastic candy moulds (shallower is better) Or Shallow roasting/ baking dish

WHAT YOU DO 1. Place the sugar in a bowl and add the water. Stir until all of the sugar is moistened. 2. If you want to add colouring and flavouring, add just a tiny bit of colour and the flavouring, and stir everything together. By the end, the sugar should have the texture of wet sand and clump together when you squeeze it in your palm. 3. Use a spoon to heap the sugar into the mould's cavities/ roasting dish. Make sure that you compact it well so that it holds together and takes the form of the mould well. 5. For the best results, the sugar should dry completely before being removed/ cut. 6. Once Dry, remove from mould/ cut cubes in the roasting tray and remove. Cubes should be left to dry once removed/ cut. 7. HEART-SHAPED RICE KRISPIES

YOU WILL NEED Cooking spray 3 tablespoons margarine 100gs of marshmallows Red food colouring 6-9 cups Rice Krispies cereal Heart-shaped cookie cutter Plastic bags Ribbon Label

WHAT YOU DO 1. To begin, lightly coat a 10- by 15-inch baking sheet with cooking spray and set it aside. 2. Melt the margarine in a large pot over low heat. Add the marshmallows, stirring them continuously until they melt. Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in drops of red food colouring until you are happy. 3. Add the Rice Krispies, stirring until they are evenly coated with marshmallow. Spoon the mixture onto the baking sheet. 4. With waxed paper (or lightly buttered hands), smooth out the mixture, spreading it to an even thickness. 5. Cut out hearts with the cookie cutter. Place each heart in a clear plastic bag, tie on a yarn bow, and they're ready for giving. Makes seven 5-inch hearts.

LACE MASON JAR CANDLE HOLDERS

WHAT YOU WILL NEED { PER JAR }
1 {clean} Mason/ Jam Jar Length of lace {approx} 1cm longer {in width} than the Jar Ribbon Decorative Flower/ Embellishment Tea-light/ Candle Hot Glue Gun/ Strong Wood Glue

WHAT YOU DO 1. Measure your lace and cut to size so that in covers all of your mason/ jam jar, leaving approximately 1cm of an overage {for the seam}. 2. Taking your hot glue gun/ strong wood glue, ‘paint’ a line of glue around the top and the bottom circumference edge of the jar and a line ‘down the back edge of the jar that will become your seam. 3. Take your lace and ‘stick into place with the glued edges. Leave to one side until the glue is dry. 4. Take your ribbon and embellishments and secure as you like. 5. Add you candle.

SALT DOUGH KEEP-SAKE ORNAMENTS

YOU WILL NEED
½ Cup of Salt 1 Cup of Plain Flour ½ Cup of Water Cookie Cutters Embossers Paint Gloss

WHAT YOU DO 1. Mix your flour and salt together in a bowl. 2. Add the water gradually, mixing as you go. You are looking to create a mixture similar to that of a dough. 3. Once your mixture has come together take out of the bowl and knead for 5-10 minutes. 4. Now using a rolling pin, roll out your dough to about 1 -1.5cm thickness. 5. Using your cookie cutters cut out the shapes you desire, re-kneading and rolling out any leftovers. { depending on what type of embossers you are using you might like to emboss the dough before or after you cut the shape. { remember to add holes for ribbon if you would like them to hang!} 6. Once all your shapes are cut put into the microwave in batches for 3mins. If your shape is still a little soft put it back into the microwave for another 20seconds and repeat as necessary. 7. WHAT YOU WILL NEED Coloured/ Patterned Paper Vase Selection of Flowers & Greenery Plastic Florist Viles Double Sided Sellotape

WHAT YOU DO 1. Cut your coloured/ patterned paper into a cone shape and stick a length { or 2 } of double sided sticky tape down one side. Peel off the paper from the double sided sticky tape and secure your cone shape in place. 2. Take your plastic florist vile and fill with 2 inches of water. Stuff in some tissue to absorb the water. 3. Cut your flowers and greenery to the desired length and put inside the plastic vile. 4. Place the vile inside the cone and your cone inside your vase. 5. Repeat as necessary.
