What is the
ISU Creamery? The Iowa State University Creamery is a business run primarily by students for students. Located on campus within the Food Sciences Building, Room 2953, the ISU Creamery is easily accessible for students looking for a sweet treat. The products and services offered include ice cream and cheese. The Iowa State Creamery is open four days a week from noon to 4:30 p.m, excluding Wednesdays.
The ISU Creamery offers... Ice cream is available for purchase in: Single scoops for $3 Double scoops $4 Triple scoops for $5
Freshly made cheese curds costing $5.50 per 9ounce bag are available in plain, Italian garlic herb and chipotle lime flavors.
8-ounce cups and 32-ounce cartons are also available for $5.50 and $12. Products can also be shipped Monday or Wednesday of each week. Overnight shipping costs are $55 per package.
Cyclone-shape aged cheddar cheese is $6.50 per 5-ounce piece with the option for two-day shipping costing and an additional $35 per package.
The Legend-Dairy Legacy The ISU Creamery's Legacy flavor, created in 2017, honors alumni George Washington Carver and Mildred Day by incorporating peanut products and Rice Krispies™ treats. Thus, named after the two alumni, the ISU Creamery peanut butter flavor tells a famous story in every bite.
