Constantly repositioning and redirecting your boat wastes valuable fishing time. That’s why our patented AutoPilot system (available on Riptide ST and SP motors) does the hard work of navigating for you. Lock AutoPilot onto your desired heading, and let it automatically and continuously make adjustments to keep your boat moving in the right direction.

There’s no need to clutter up your deck with a foot pedal when you arm yourself with the CoPilot remote. CoPilot gives you the freedom to fish from anywhere on the boat – even the platform – and allows you to control on/off, speed and steering – all from the palm of your hand. Optional on selected Riptide SP motors.

WORKS HARD SO YOU DON’T HAVE TO. AutoPilot’s state-of-the-art compass system locks onto a particular heading and automatically and continuously corrects itself against wind, waves and current to keep your boat moving in the right direction. Whether you’re picking your way through the mangroves or sight fishing on the flats, AutoPilot lets you spend less time worrying about navigating and more time focusing on reeling in the reds.

SIMPLICITY AT ITS BEST. To use AutoPilot, just point the motor head in the direction you want to travel and let it take over. It uses a state-ofthe-art compass system that automatically and intelligently steers your boat to keep you right in the strike zone.

COPILOT TM WIRELESS kit T/S RTSP MOTORS Along current lines, or over shelves or ledges, AutoPilot will make automatic adjustments against wind, waves or current to continue to pull your boat in the desired direction.

Wireless control featuring plug n play design for easy hook up. Hand held remote controls left/right steering, speed up/ down, and motor on/off from your fishing rod, wrist or belt. System can be used in conjunction with your corded foot pedal.

Run “in place” over schooling fish, by using AutoPilot to adjust your motor against wind, waves or current – keeping you in prime position to reel ’em in.

Troll parallel to the shoreline by activating AutoPilot to maintain your heading until you choose to change it. Repeat a productive troll by rotating the motor 180° at the end of your run. AutoPilot will swing the boat around and retrace your path.

START

Record a track. Simply push the Record button and fish along your desired course. i-Pilot will store that track to memory (up to three separate tracks). When you want to retrace a course, i-Pilot’s Playback functions will automatically guide your boat along the track.

END

Record A Track: i-Pilot can record your track

(start to end), for up to two miles. To retrace your path in either direction, just press the Track to Start or Track to End buttons.

Spot-Lock. Spot-Lock works like an electronic anchor. Choose up to three separate spots for i-Pilot to remember, and at the push of a button, it will correct for wind or currents to hold you in place. Spot-Lock Recall lets you return to your spot later, from up to a quarter mile away.

Automatic Temperature Compensation

The “gassing threshold” – where lead acid batteries reach their peak charge level – changes with temperature. The higher the temperature, the lower the threshold. Minn Kota ® On-Board Chargers compensate for temperature by adjusting the output voltage to assure you always receive the proper charge. It also protects batteries from “boiling” due to overcharging at high temperatures. You get a better charge, with better protection.

Power Battery Box

Impact resistant case with a heavy duty handle and strap that makes the battery portable. Indicator measures battery condition at the press of a button. Two cigarette lighter type power sockets are mounted externally and prewired internally via a 10 amp circuit breaker that can be externally reset. If either battery is receiving a charge, the VSR will activate, paralleling the two battery banks. BATTERY MANAGEMENT

The Voltage Sensitive Relay (VSR) allows two batteries to be charged at the same time. It will automatically prioritise the charging of the start battery in twin battery systems. When the engine is first started the relay is open and remains open until the start battery has reached a preset 13.7 volts for 12 volt systems. At the rated voltage the relay closes providing charge to both batteries (start and house). When the voltage drops below 12.8 volts (when the engine is stopped), the VSR disengages, separating the batteries. This system eliminates the possibility of draining the start battery and protects electronics powered by the house battery from harmful engine starting spikes. A VSR has no voltage drop as opposed to conventional charge diode isolators. Surface mounted, 5mm roundhead screws.
