It works a huge portion of your body, which leads to more overall muscle stimulation. Basically, you want to start with a low weight to begin with. This can be very tough on your back, so getting the form down is essential. You start with the barbell on the ground. You bend down and bend your knees to get low enough to grip the bar. From this position, you want to stand up straight and pull your shoulders back. This is very hard on the body and the drain is extremely high, so make sure you're not going to fall back or lose grip.
