s bunnies will be always there for our Leona Lewis, this is the test of a true fan or more accurately a bunny. It doesn't matter how fickle the mass media flavour of the month whether it this singer or that artist to a bunny it is always Leona Lewis, our Leona had the crowds behind her during the two concerts I had attended this summer and some fans travelled to Hopefield to see Leona. A friend who is not a Bunny said to me "Why do they not play Leona Lewis on the radio when they play every other female singer of the 21st Century?" I couldn't answer that! Now on to a happier note do you like the new design of Bleeding Lovely Magazine? Yes it is a new fresher and less cluttered design that will make the magazine more clean and less fussy looking. Our Music Bunny also had a busy summer with the Glassheart tour and two “One Off Special Gigs at the Scarborough Open Air Theatre and Kew Gardens, all these shows have kept many a bunny happy during the summer months. Proving it does not matter what the mainstream media think about our Leona Lewis because she was still on top form during all the performances. And but not lease we would like to wish Hopefield Animal Sanctuary a Happy 30 th Anniversary year and thank Leona for being there for the Sanctuary and Bunnies on the Open Day on the 21st July.

Leona is currently working on her forth album, a Motown inspired Christmas album. It is not known whether there are covers of classic Motown hits but it could win the 2006 X Factor fans back, Leona did win on singing classic hits from the 50's to 80's. This will get older Baby Boomer fans back on her side in time for an album of new material in 2014.

Leona and her friend Maloy have created their own website with blogs about what interest them outside of music, at first you might think it is a ‘Girly’ Site with blogs on fashion but on a deeper look there is stuff to interest male bunnies there with an item on divers swimming with whales, if you like wildlife to DIY on Bling Rabbit Hutches and loads on art and creativity. The Glass heart Tour was the long awaited event which would see Leona Lewis take to the road again. The tour would see performances in venues across Germany,

Switzerland and the UK. Leona performed songs from the Glassheart album released at the end of last year plus some of her songs that have become classics. Such as Bleeding Love, First Time Ever I Saw Your Face and Run. I had the pleasure of seeing this show at the Royal Albert Hall in London on May 8th, this of course is the venue of the world famous annual “BBC Promenade Concerts” of classical music. Leona truly a product of the modern age was not out of place in this amazing concert hall of a Victorian vintage, The evening started off with us being treated to a performance by a new singer called Ryan Read. A singer songwriter with a guitar, who hopefully will have a long career ahead of himself. Ryan’s set took us to a break in which I got a much needed glass of coke on this humid evening. Then the main attraction, the lady herself dressed in a red coat style dress with eighties “power dressing” shoulders and a slit in the maxi-skirt to reveal black knee length boots and a silver metallic belt to finish off her outfit. Leona had dark blonde

hair in a ponytail style. Later in the show she changed in a stylish black tracksuit type outfit with what looked like a white towel resting on her right shoulder and black stiletto heels, but it worked and she looked great and towards the end Leona donned a white gown style dress and looked like a Princess. This show was more about what Leona Lewis is about, with the Labyrinth Tour back in 2010 and all it’s circus and nightclub effects. Aerial artistes, ballet dancers Lord of the Rings type performers made great theatre but kind of distracted you from what Miss Lewis is really about. The Glassheart Tour was better for keeping it true to what Leona is about, simply, a singer and her songs. Leona had just a band and shards of shattered Glassheart as the backdrop (It was the Glassheart Tour!), this enabled you to concentrate on her music. But it was not just about being serious when a voice carried across the auditorium “Where’s the Bunnies!” brought a laugh and smiles to many a face and of course choruses of ‘I love you Leona!’, the night ended with many Bunnies standing around and talking for over two hours in the hope of catching Leona, it was not to be. I travelled home with a Bunny from the Croydon area, not disappointed. On the

bus and train we reflected on that even though we did not meet Leona in person that night we had witness one amazing night with Leona Lewis. Upon getting off the train and saying goodbye to my fellow Bunny a short walk brought me back to the real world. The Albert Hall seemed like an amazing dream. The Glassheart Tour had showed us that Leona Lewis has moved on in a big way as an artist, with the theatre gimmicks gone and the show going back to basics her performance came across more memorable. The Royal Albert Hall also show her increase in status.

On a hot summer's evening outside Kew and facts about Kew Gardens in the Gardens, London a long queue was formingintervals. of Bunnies and other music fans who had First off there was a great set by someone good taste in music in anticipation of an from the UK version of The Voice, then a amazing outdoor summer event, as part of a break for say 10 minutes with the festival of music known as "Kew The Music", competitions and Kew films to keep us attendees were incourage to buy or bring a entertained. With the greenhouse illuminated behind the stage the gardens are amazing. OK going bit off and it getting dark and the moon rising in subject. Back to Leona and the concert. At view. It really did look like something from a Kew the concert was done in a slightly dream, at the Albert Hall it was more formal different style to the usual concert in the fact with you being allocated a seat but at Kew it there was a compaire like the family shows was more closer you feel to Leona and the you went to as a kid, they had competitions other acts. There was no seats or balconies going on and giving out prizes for the people etc and festival/Party atmosphere. She sang they picked out shown on the large screensthe same set that she did at the Albert Hall but it seemed different because it was it and asking people to text why the liked wasn't a concert in a hall but a mini open air Leona and the best would be upgraded to a Leona Lewis Music Festival, Kew was my VIP. This gave it a party feel more than a secret garden on the evening July the 13th. mere concert. It was a mixure of great music
