Boy meets girl

Year End 2011 Girls can wear jeans and cut their hair short, wear shirts and boots, because it’s OK to be a boy, but for a boy to look like a girl is degrading, because you think that being a girl is degrading. Secretly you’d love to know what it’s like, wouldn’t you? What it feels like for a girl? Charlotte Gainsbourg in the movie The Cement Garden, 1993. The last collection for Blend SHE is a celebration of the fashion mix-factor - the styling and the mixing have never been as important as right now; The feminine touch mixed with masculine wardrobe pieces in order to obtain the famous androgynous look like you know it from Coco Chanel from the 1920s and the immaculate Marlene Dietrich in movies like Morocco from 1930. Today symbolized in the it-girl Carey Mulligan with her natural, feminine charm and her short boyish haircut. The Blend She style and mood for this last collection of 2011 is highly inspired by the 50s and 60s with reference to the smash hit ‘Mad Men’ with super feminine elements red lips and high heels contrasted with men’s wear elements like blazer jacket, chino pants and hat. To emphasize the party element sequin is use in cocktail blazer jackets, leggings and tops.

The silhouette focuses on the waist with full bottom dresses and squared shapes. Other elements in the collection are boat neck, round collars, pleated shorts and cropped knitted pullovers. Finally the Year End-delivery in December offers you a refreshing preview of Spring 2012 with new shapes and new colours. The mood is still 60s inspired but now with a simple silhouette, A-Line and narrow jeans with ankleexposing cuffs. Blend it - but never blend in. Happy New Year. Let’s celebrate!

Evening star A new limited selection within Blend SHE Evening Star introduces a more dressed and feminine selection in the Blend SHE collection. She likes to dress up for the moment and she enjoys a little rock-star glamour. She loves to sparkle in the new Evening Star selection by Blend SHE. This new limited selection of the Blend SHE collection is named Evening Star and it is dedicated to the Blend girl who wants to shine a little brighter and indulge herself with something extra glamorous. Evening Star is designed to rock her world and make her feel like the star of the hour when she goes to parties, goes on a date or to her favourite cafĂŠ. Evening Star emphasizes the feminine elements with stylish details and urban elegance - classy and dazzling always true to the Blend SHE spirit and fashion but with a more dressed look and added value. Make her sparkle with Evening Star by Blend SHE.
