Construction works are ongoing with Blenheim Park Developments at The Green in Totley, to transform a neglected bungalow into a home that feels like you’re on holiday everyday. Aiming to create a home that would sit easily by the sea, Blenheim and the client have thoughtfully chosen the materials and colours for the internals and externals of the property to achieve this unique vision. The exterior of the property will be clad with millboard and to the front there will be a bonded resin driveway enclosed with yacht wire/post fencing and a wall constructed of grey rumbled key kerbs. To the rear, landscaping works have also commenced. The gardens have been designed to take advantage of the sun shining mostly on the back of the house. Works have begun to take shape with an office and summerhouse with millboard decking currently being constructed. Also being built are raised planting borders and a decked terrace, which can be accessed from the kitchen for a seamless transition from indoors to outdoors. Construction is also progressing well with the interior of The Green, with the rear extension now being complete and accommodating the new kitchen/dining room with glass lanterns, bi-folding doors and under floor heating. For this particular property, the challenge has been to create a house of exceptional style and quality for a client who is downsizing from a large country home. To help with the transition from a larger property, Blenheim Park Developments have incorporated a high level of storage solutions throughout. The design process with the client has been a wonderful experience; every requirement from the client has been accommodated and surpassed. Once the project has been completed, the property will have been transformed from a traditional two bedroomed dormer bungalow into a luxury three bedroomed family home. The ground floor will be totally reconfigured to create a new layout to cater for the client’s lifestyle. Consisting of a dining kitchen, utility room, WC and a guest bedroom with an en-suite. The first floor will also be reconfigured to comprise of an additional bedroom, a generously sized master suite with walk-in wardrobes, an en-suite bathroom and a balcony with glass balustrading.

Another complete refurbishment is also taking place for a client who purchased a brick built home with exceptional views on Blackamoor Road. The whole property will be transformed to create a luxury home with all the internal living areas being completely reconfigured to work for the client’s lifestyle and to maximise the views. The property will have the entire roof replaced and the exterior will be re-clad with hand made brick and stone coins with sailor course details. The UPVC windows will also be replaced with powder coated aluminium frames and bi-fold doors will be fitted to a rear extension. A large orangery will be built to the rear, bringing the garden and landscape into this wonderful home. An exceptional amount of space is being created, producing a contemporary and versatile living space. The ground floor will be remodelled to create a large dining kitchen, tv room, formal lounge, orangery and a master suite with a dressing room, which will span the full depth of the property.
