When it comes to hiring wedding vendors, some are more obvious than others. You wouldn’t dream of having a wedding without hiring a photographer, but a rental company should be high on your list of priority vendors as they create your event’s overall look and feel. RSVP is an event design and rental company established in Waco in 2001. They provide rentals, planning, design, set up, breakdown, and delivery. Customers select the services that best match their needs. Their rental inventory is endless with various tents, tables, chairs, linens, bars, dance floor, lighting options, lounge furniture, draping and fabric décor, ceremony décor, and centerpiece and backdrop options in addition to catering equipment.

According to owner Nancy Comer, “We usually start with an initial consultation with the bride to get an idea of her style and the look that excites her. As we are working on her plan, we discuss where we are with cost and adjust accordingly. From a formal dinner to a casual affair, the table setting sets the tone for an event. How to set a table used to be common knowledge, but unless you grew up helping your mom set the

Thanksgiving table, host dinner parties regularly, or work in the wedding industry, chances are you have no idea which side the knife goes on. But don’t fret - we’ve got you covered!

1.

Silverware should be 1 inch from the bottom of the edge of the table. It should also be placed in the order of use from the outside to inside.

2.

The salad fork and dinner fork should be placed on the left side of the plate. The dinner knife should be facing inward on the right side of the plate. Your soup spoon should be on the right side of your knife.

3.

The water glass should be placed directly above the knife and if you are using a wine glass, it should be set to the right of the water glass.
