Mickelsen Community Library brings a summer of fun this July! Learn about “Chalk the Ramp” with your family and friends JULY 6 at 10 a.m., and enjoy a “Color Party Baby Story Time” from ages 0-18 months JULY 11 at 10 a.m. Looking for something open to ages 12 and older? Challenge your spelling abilities on a “Balloon Word Scramble,” JULY 12 at 2 p.m. Close up your Summer with a “Teen Karaoke” event, JULY 18 at 2 p.m., open to ages 13 and older, and show off your singing skills! Run For Freedom

Join Youth Sports & Fitness SATURDAY, JULY 15 for the last race of the summer. Kick off the start of school on a good foot. The run will be from 7 to 9:30 a.m. at the Youth Sports Plex, located at 195 Chaffee Road. Children run free, the cost is $5 for parents who would like to purchase a t-shirt the day of race, it is cash only. Lucha Libre

Lucha Frontera is bringing high-flying action to Fort Bliss FRIDAY, JULY 21 at Stout Physical Fitness Center (PFC). Enjoy action packed entertainment, starting at 6 p.m. The event is free to attend and open to the public. Come out for a stomping good time with friends! Stout PFC is located at 2930 Cassidy Road. The Fort Bliss Army Community Service (ACS) Hiring Fair is quickly approaching! The ACS Employment Readiness Program (ERP) is ready to connect hiring companies with the Military community, Aug. 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Centennial Banquet & Conference Center. It is open to all DoD ID cardholders, registration is not required.
