Get the balance wrong and you will struggle on an on going basis. We believe in detox diets that detoxify your system in a controlled manner for the benefit of your body. If you are looking to remove the toxins from your body, then there are more issues at stake rather than simply starving yourself. Toxins are a build up of impurities and fats and chemicals that are 'stuck' in your body. Like any job, you would use the right tool, in the correct manner to get the job done right. If you want to lose weight on the detox diet, then you would use a different tool, and use it differently. So, back to the original statement; Not all detox diets are actually detox diets. You need to be very specific on what you are trying to achieve. Ask yourself better questions before you start. Am I trying to detoxify? Detoxify what? Is it my liver? Is it my kidneys? Am I trying to just clean up my act and feel better? Am I trying to lose weight? Do I want a lifestyle Change? Why am I doing this? Will I notice a difference immediately? Am I setting myself up for hardship and failure? Ask yourself better questions, and you will get better answers, and the right answers.
