The HBCU College Tour will invite HBCUs and Air Force recruiters to engage with high school and college students, parents and community influencers to discuss admission and career opportunities requirements. The Air Force recruiter will be on-site to discuss qualifications for placement, career opportunities, tuition benefits, and health benefits in the military. The HBCU College Fair engages in an on-the-spot acceptance process whereby, if the student comes prepared with copies of the requisite SAT/ACT score and GPA, they can be accepted into college on the spot and can qualify to receive a scholarship award. The Air Force recruiters will be meeting Tier One level applicants.

Voorhees Stream-a-Thon took place Tuesday, December 1, 2020. Voorhees is an HBCU and is located in Denmark, SC. Money Making Conversations airs on the campus radio station every Sunday from 4 PM-6 PM on WVCD 96.5 FM and 790 AM.

Voorhees College celebrated the greatest fundraising achievement in the institution’s history on Giving Tuesday. The Denmark, South Carolina HBCU reportedly raised $1,003,816 during a 12-hour live stream-a-thon that was held on Dec. 1, 2020 surpassing its goal of $1 million.
