PRAIRIE
YARN REFERENCE GUIDE
LIGHT AND AIRY PRAIRIE
An all natural and an excellent alternative for lace weight mohair, Prairie’s unique blend consists of 53% Suri Alpaca/ 47% Baby Huacaya Alpaca. The combination of softness from the Suri Alpaca and the structure from the Baby Huacaya Alpaca creates a magnificent yarn. Light, airy, and soft, this singleply, fingering weight yarn consists of 14 picturesque colors inspired by Minnesota prairies. Each hank is 50g/273yd and the recommended needle and hook sizes range from 3.5-5.5mm. When used on its own Prairie creates a sheer, lightweight fabric. When paired with another yarn, it creates a feathery, soft halo. Prairie creates dreamy, finished fabrics and is a versatile option for your next project.

THE PATTERNS
This Autumn/Winter 2024 Collection explores the inky, dark skies of our world and beyond. Nighttime is all around. The moon is high, nights are long, constellations are bright, and the aurora borealis displays dynamic lights across the sky. The palette is driven by moody colors with contrasting accents: deep and dark midnight skies with hints of twinkling stars, and other times the sky is exploding with icy and fiery glows from the northern lights.
