RESORT ACTIVITIES
Tylwyth Teg is a Welsh tale about ‘fairies’ of the valley set outdoors. Visit their village and collect magical dust and create a new home for the fairies. Travel back in time with Castles & Celts in this medieval adventure. Battle other Kinghts and save the princesses as we relive traditional Welsh tales. We’re going on a Bluestone Beast Hunt. Under rocks, in tree stumps and knee deep water, mud and foilage with a magnifying glass and a special kit to catch and study bugs. Introduce young ones to the great little outdoors.

MINI RANGERS
A wonderful expedition awaits with Mud Mystery: The Quest For The Golden Egg an animal tracking mission set withim ancient woodland. Black Bart, Pembrokeshire’s greatest pirate is calling out to all shipmates to join in his intrepid adventures in search of The Lost Celtic Gold. Flight of the Red Kite. How does a bird fly? How big is an eagle? Get answers to all of your questions and meet two of Pembrokshire’s finest Birds of Prey. Admire thier beauty and craft your very own wings.

There’s plenty of room at Bluestone for all manner of outdoor family activities, whether participating in archery and laser clay down at the games field or honing your survival skills at Camp Smokey set deep amongst the towering pines. Woodland Survival. Lost in the Pembokeshire Woods... How would you survive? Zip in to the woods with your team, will your team be the first to build a shelter and take on the first team challenge Newton Knights Training. Bootcamp of the Knights Templar, do you have what it takes to hold your sword high, to wear the tunic with pride? With events such as longbow, jousting, clayshooting and more.. Dramarama. Who doesn’t throw a strop from time to time? Is it frustration or is it an outlet for Creative Expression? Dramarama is a fantastic opportunity to become part of our bluestone production.

Voyage of the Bluestones. Bring your wellies, your steady hand and creative minds as we design and craft using basic supplies and materials from the forest to safely transport the mystical stones of the Welsh Mountain downstream. Raft Building. Build a raft to carry your team across the lalke using the bare supplies. Extremely fun and potentially wet activity, extra clothes and positive attitude a must! Bog Cross. Do you sit infront of the telly or computer abusing your vision? Could you be as skillful without it? Find out as we blindfold you and set you a series of tasks in the heart of the Bluestone Forest.

Our activities are designed for you to enjoy a unique experience indoors and outdoors so whether you’re an adventurer, an explorer or you simply want to relax and unwind, Bluestone is unique, and is re-defining short break holidays in the UK. Lantern Workshop. A chance to be creative as a family as you craft an amazing lantern, then experience a new level of excitement and beauty as we float them candlelit on the Bluestone lake as fireworks light the sky. Messy Play. Jelly! Water! Flour! Paint! And much more. Our extremely popular Messy Play session for both children and adults. Let your child be a child and make a mess freely as you enjoy helping without the hassle of cleaning up.

4x4 Off Road Safari. After choosing their off road vehicle young drivers will develop their skills on our purpose built course where parents can watch. Age: 6 - 12 years Family Kayaking. Take the whole family out onto our lake and learn to kayak. What better way to spend more time together as a family than by trying something new? Age: 12 years + Pond dipping can provide hours of education and entertainment – offering children all the fun of rock-pooling without the need to drive to the sea-side. Age: All ages

Overcome your fears & get your adrenalin pumping at Steep Ravine, Bluestone’s awesome high ropes adventure course. High Ropes. This is one of the three zip wires at Bluestone. Part of the Steep Ravine high ropes course, a fantastic new activity and a sensory experience that accords fully with the Bluestone ethos of creating inspired memories. Age: 10 years + Woodland Warrior Laser Combat is like paintball but without the paint and without the pain. It fires lasers and all hits are recorded. The woodland arena is set at the top of Steep Ravine in a dedicated wooded area. There are hides, ditches, bivouacs, and of course yours and your opponents camp. Our own instructors will guide you through different games and challenges. Be prepared to get down and dirty with our mud. Age: 8 years+

Archery. While technology has moved forward, those eager to step back in time should give archery a go. Armed with a bow and arrows, see how your skills measure against those of Twm Sion Catti, the Welsh Robin Hood. Age: 8 years + Laser Clay. How good is your aim? Challenge your friends and family or try and get yourself on our leader board. Never tried it before? No problem. It’s a totally safe and environmentally-friendly way to enjoy the thrill of hitting your mark! Even the kids can have a go. Age: 8 years+ Tree Climbing. Age: 6 years+

Baby Sensory. Baby Sensory provides hundreds of sensory development activities that are great fun for parents and babies to share in the vital first year. The classes include fibre optic light shows, bubbles, bells, musical fun, baby signing, puppet shows, amazing light balls and so much more.. Age: up to 1 year Toddler Sense. Our programme is an adventure play activity that has been designed to introduce toddlers into learning through play and games. Toddler Sense introduces a whole new world of adventure for toddlers and children up to the age of three years. Great music, great equipment and great new ideas! Imagine becoming a Red Indian, Space Adventurer, a Rock Star or even a creature from under the sea! Age: 1 - 3 years

The great outdoors, indoors. A giant countryside themed adventure playground with four large linked towers, complete with suspension bridges, crawl tubes, nets and ladders, a soft play area with ball pool, spiral slide and mini golf. Upstairs has a mezzanine level for access to the high ropes course, a viewing area overlooking the main hall with The Wild Wood cafĂŠ that provides lighter meals and a fully stocked bar. Age: All ages Sky Trail takes children on a high ropes adventure that will thrill and delight. Age: 6 years+ The Wall. A great way to get your youngsters into climbing. The Wall has professional instructors offering guidance. Age: 6 years+
ADVENTURE CENTRE
Bluelagoon Water Park Free to all staying guests Blue Lagoon is not a swimming pool. Our ‘waterpark’ features an indoor wave machine, a rapids river ride and two enclosed flume rides that leave the coracle-shaped building and bring you back into the main swimming area at pool level. Free to all staying guests the Blue Lagoon can provide hours of family fun. Wild Water. Every Friday between 6pm and 9pm you can get all the Blue Lagoons best bits: waves, slides, flumes and the lazy river – all mixed together with the hottest tunes echoing around the Blue Lagoon. Wild Water isn’t just any old visit to the Blue Lagoon. Every activity is turned up to the max. Even the lazy river is more like a river rapid and the waves are only for the bravest of souls. Does not run through school holidays After Dark. The night starts with a chill-out with some of the best relaxing music between 6-7pm, along with bubbles, coloured canon spray and a lazy river. Between 7-8pm everything’s ramped up with special effects before everything goes wild between 8-9pm with waves, louder music and even more cannon spray. Only available during school holidays

A fine meal can be the high point of a holiday. An exquisite dish and a glass or two of good wine in comfortable surroundings and a welcoming atmosphere can truly be an occasion to savour and remember. Carreg Las is Bluestone’s flagship brasserie. Here we aim to provide an exceptional intimate, dining experience, using the best seasonal local produce like organic Pembrokeshire beef and lamb, local rare breed pork, locally landed sea bream, complemented with a fine wine or two. It’s the most important meal of the day and we treat it with all the respect it deserves, the menu covers everything from a croissant to a cooked breakfast. Served 9am to 11am. If you don’t want to worry about fixing your breakfast, Bluestone can do this for you! Make your stay more enjoyable by booking breakfast on any day of the week! Cooked breakfasts are available in The Yard and Continental breakfasts are available from Miller’s in the Village.
When in Wales you may want to try – Laver bread. Made with seaweed this highly nutritious delicacy was once described as Welshman’s caviar by Richard Burton.

With its giant tree house, forester’s cottage, nest pod and squirrels drey set around a giant 20ft tree, you’ll feel like you’ve entered a magical wild world with all the sounds and smells of the wood and its inhabitants. And with plenty of fun entertainment and activities for youngsters, it’s also a great place to hire for birthday parties and special occasions.
