Cool temperatures and windy weather couldn’t keep local residents away from the 11th annual Rockledge Art and Craft Show held on Barton Boulevard on Jan. 26.
In addition to food vendors, the event featured a bevy of vendors selling an assortment of arts and crafts that event organizers required to be either “100 percent handmade or “substantially handaltered,” according to an online advertisement from show organizers.
Among the vendors on hand was John Savasta, who was selling impressive handmade wooden birdhouses as part of his business that he calls “John Noel Woodworks.”
“A lot of people like the bird houses, a lot of people commented on them,” Savasta said.
The show also featured a car show with more than 30 classic vehicles on display. One of those was a 1924 American LaFrance fire engine.
