Skagen Denmark timepieces featuring the Swiss quartz movement showcase a level of craftsmanship that is dated back over 500 years, ensuring only the utmost in quality. The movement components are assembled in Switzerland. To be considered a Swiss movement piece at least 50% of these parts must be Swiss-made. The Swiss watch makers embrace the formula for their legendary movement â&#x20AC;&#x201C; no facet of the movement leaves the factory without proper supervision and approval. Powered by Jewels

The Skagen Denmark Swiss movement collection features spring-powered mechanical function. In these fascinating watches conservation of energy is practically an art form. To reduce friction during movement many of the spaces between gears are set with tiny synthetic gem crystals. Using this special feature rather than metal minimizes temperature changes and holds lubricant longer making these watches as steadfast as they look.
