ITALIAN CHARM Italy is this year’s most popular luxury travel destination for Europeans, according to the inaugural Accor Travel Trends Report. The Mediterranean favourite was closely followed by Spain and Greece with 55% of the 6,000 people surveyed admitting they intend to keep their travels within Europe. Unsurprisingly, beach holidays top the wish list for travel in 2022 with 33% planning sun and sand holidays after two challenging years. group.accor.com
