Customer Care to Customer Excellence

Listening to your Customers

Customer care is a well-worn phrase and most people understand the concept of caring for your customer, so the customer will care for you/your company. In an increasingly competitive business environment, however, customer care is no longer good enough. To differentiate yourself from other people and companies vying for your customers’ business, Customer Excellence is where it’s at. Providing your customers consistently with a truly excellent experience, where they go away feeling positive about each interaction, creates customer loyalty – a much coveted entity in business, because customer loyalty creates advocates and advocates create long term business flow that makes business success sustainable. This highly interactive session is designed to help participants understand the difference between good and excellent customer service, as well as enable them to gain insight in the mind-set and skills necessary to achieve the latter – consistently. Objectives 

 

This three-day course provides an overview of the financial processes within an organisation, and will enable the non-financial manager to discover more about the financial jigsaw and piece it together. Objectives

Focused listening to what the other party to the conversation is saying and asking the right questions to encourage constructive dialogue are fundamental to all communication, but especially critical when building customer relationships. The problem is, few people are ever taught them. It comes as no surprise, therefore, that the majority of customer facing staff find building relationships with their customers a challenge, and few get the desired results from their day-to-day interactions. In this session, which is extremely effective in empowering people to overcome communication challenges, we are looking at how to listen and question effectively in a highly interactive way.

To appreciate the importance of listening and questioning skills as part of providing an excellent customer experience

To manage customers’ needs in a helpful and decisive manner
