Calibration of LPG Mounded Bullet
Calibration Defined as the process of exactly determining the capacity or limited capacities of a tank and stating this capacity as a volume for a given linear increment or height of liquid. Calibration is basically determining the measurement accuracy of the storage tank on the terminal block. All instruments used to calibrate equipment should be accurate; the composition and concentration of any gas samples used for calibration should be accurately known. Calibration should be recorded on or near the equipment.
Calibration of LPG Mounded Bullet : For CalibratIon of above Ground, Mounded or Underground Cylindrical tanks either “ Dry method “ or “ Wet method “ is used . The readings of volume obtained for various heights of liquid levels inside the tank is recorded and the chart is fed into the software of a computer or HART or Scada system or Tank Inventroy measurement system and the level readings measured by precise equipmnets like Radar gauges , Servo gauges etc is converted to volume/ mass
