The Link Houston identity is a visual representation of our brand positioning. It enables a unified, positive, flexible system for the kiosk. The following pages explain the multiple iterations of the Link Houston identity system, and the rules around using them correctly to create an inspiring and forward thinking brand. Please follow the guidelines carefully. The guidelines are to help build and maintain a clear, consistent and successful visual identity.

OUR BRANDMARK Link Houston’s brandmark is a visual representation of our brand, and its integrity must be maintained at all times. The brandmark must always appear in the proportions shown, and no attempt should be made to redraw, stretch, squeeze or distort the brandmark in any way.
SYMBOL The cursive Link in black, color, or white on a color background TYPE The names of each neighborhood of Houston BRANDMARK The brandmark is the cursive link in any of its versions and the type when used together in a lockup

To maximize the brand’s presence and visual standout, there is a defined minimum clear space area.

This crop zone around the brand mark defines the area into which no other graphic elements, such as text, imagery or other brandmarks can intrude. The distance marked x represents height of the type. In the logo shown opposite applies to all sizes of brandmark reproduction.
The color brandmark should only be used on a white background. The color brandmark should never be reproduced as a gray scale brandmark. Use a mono version. The 2 mono versions can both be used in positive and negative formats. For example, the black brandmark on white background or the white brandmark reversed out of a black or color background

For ease of recognition, a minimum size has been set for the brandmark, in order to assure successful reproduction
To maintain consistency throughout our identity application it is essential that the brandmark is never altered in any way. Here are a few examples of what not to do. It is essential that the brandmark is always reproduced from the master artwork

Variation of color is based on the five different neighborhoods where Link Houston kiosks are located as well as Houston as a whole. Either the background is the designated color or the link symbol as well as the neighborhood in the type.

Link Houston utilizes two typefaces. The primary typeface is FF Milo text used for bodies of text. The secondary typeface is Archivo Narrow Bold that is to be used for titles and all caps in the brandmark. Open Sans Light should be used in place of Milo for web.
