Blue Water Balloons
Blue Water Balloons is a hot air balloon attraction located in Orlando, FL. They fly thousands of people a year in balloons specifically designed and engineered for passenger comfort. Safety is their first priority, and they have been in business since 1983. For this attraction I redesigned their logo; created a brochure, rack card, photo CD cover, and designed branded merchandise. Overall I wanted it to be light and fun because the attraction is all about fun and ease. Since it is an air balloon attraction I wanted to feature the colorful balloons that they fly on a daily basis but stay within a limited color palette. All the other branded components reflect that those colors and the fun nature of this attraction.

The basket floors are covered with high density foam which truly makes it easier to stand on while enjoying your flight. We hope that these features will give you a high feeling of security once on board and in the air. From start to finish be safe in the knowledge that you are fully insured. All our balloons and vehicles are commercially insured for passenger carrying operations.
PRICING The price is $175 per adult and can be reserved online or by phone: 1-407-894-5040.
FAQS 1. Where do the flights take place? They can take place anywhere from Disney to Highway 192 and Highway 27 depending on wind direction. 2. Where and when do we meet? We meet approximately one hour before sunrise. This can be anywhere from 5:30am to 6:30am depending on the time of year. We meet at 2900 Parkway Blvd, Kissimmee, FL 3. How long is the flight? Most flights are about an hour. However they can be as short as 45 minutes or as long as 1 hour and 45 minutes. It just depends on weather conditions and landing sites. 4. What should I wear? NO OPENED TOED SHOES. It is not any cooler in the balloon than it is on the ground so we suggest dressing for that particular day's weather.

5. What can I bring along? Feel free to bring along a camera or camcorder to record this once in a lifetime experience.*We do offer photo packages 6. How high do we go? We can go anywhere from treetops to several thousand feet. It depends on wind speed and direction. 7. Will I be affected if I suffer from motion sickness? No. As the balloon moves with the wind, there is none of this sensation.

Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo is a family friendly attraction located in Tampa, FL. They are all about family fun and education. They want families and children to learn more about all their beautiful creatures and help keep all animals safe, and they are very nature conscious. For this attraction, I redesigned their logo, created a brochure, designed branded merchandise, rack card, and I created a phone app to accompany the rack card. With this company focusing on animals and nature I wanted the logo and all the other branded components to reflect a clean, nature aesthetic. Using only rice paper textures and colors and greens it creates a very clean and modern look.

Speedy’s Airboat Tours is an airboat tour attraction located in Everglades, FL. They offer tours on only small airboats, so you not only see the Florida Everglades up close, but you also receive a much more personalized airboat tour. The tours go into a 1000 acre private section of the Florida Everglades that no other airboat companies have access to. For this attraction, I redesigned their logo, created a brochure, rack card, and designed branded merchandise. The overall design is vintage and boat inspired. From the colors to the typeface it updates the entire look of this brand and makes it a more reliable and exciting looking company.

Breast Cancer.org
Breast Cancer.org is a nonprofit organization that raises awareness about the breast cancer. For this organization, I designed magazine ads, and direct mailers. I wanted to create an ad campaign that would catch the viewers’ attention so I created three ads that are transparent so you would see the other ad behind it. The overall message is to cut out the excuses and get checked for breast cancer because if caught early there is treatments that can stop the spread of the cancer and can potentially get rid of it completely. The theme of the ads is based off women’s sewing patterns in the 50’s, and each ad has something that is “cutout”, something that you could potentially lose if you are diagnosed with breast cancer. So I chose to have the transparent ad be the fully clothed figure so the viewer would see the exposed figure underneath to see what that figure would be losing if they don’t take precautions and get checked.

Florida Gardening Magazine
The Florida Gardening Magazine is a magazine all about the do’s and don’ts of gardening. This is a pre-existing magazine that I redesigned to update its overall look. The old design was dated, bland and not as organized. With the redesign I wanted to make the magazine smaller in size, 7.5 x 9inches so it would be easier to tote around for the average gardener but still large enough to read clearly. Each story is vibrant with color and personality. The redesign makes the magazine livelier to better represent the love of gardening.

Florida State Fair is an annual fair thrown in North Tampa, FL. They host concerts, live animals, shows, food, rides, and games. For this event I redesigned the logo, designed a billboard, and branded merchandise. Overall I wanted the look and feel of this event to be fun, colorful and represent the iconic images of the fair that everyone knows and loves.

Scarlett O’Hara’s is a restaurant located in St. Augustine FL. The concept behind Scarlett O’Hara’s is based on the characters from the film “Gone with the Wind”. For this company, I redesigned their logo, their menu, and designed branded merchandise. The purpose for the redesign of this company is to update the overall look of Scarlett’s. I kept with the wooden theme because the restaurant itself is very wooden and rustic, but I designed the logo and all other components with a richer wood mixed with gold accents to sophisticate the brand.

Academy Acrylics is a paint brand that’s ideal for the art student, offering near professional quality at a uniform and affordable price. For this product I redesigned their logo, and their box and bottle packaging. Overall I went for a very artistic approach for the logo and packaging because it is a paint brand and it helps artists express their creativity. The overall look of the logo and the packaging are paint strokes that are the colors of the basic paint set paints.

Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color
Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color is 3-D Nail Art in Seconds. Its revolutionary formula is infused with metallic particles that move when exposed to the specially designed magnet to create an extraordinary effect. For this product, I designed magazine ads, a bus stop ad, and an outdoor display. I wanted an ad campaign that wasn’t expected for nail polish so I researched images online and stumbled on an artist’s sculptures that were made out of fake nails and other various beauty items. I contacted the artist, Laurel Roth, and asked to use these wonderful sculptures within my ads. She agreed, so the sculptures became the focal point of the ads to interact with the magnetic nail polish, which made an overall striking image. The overall brand message is that the nail polish will attract attention, and these sculptures certainly help with that. For the outdoor sculpture its all about size and creating a crowd around it to get the word out there that people need to use this product.

your caribbean destination awaits Explorair Airlines is a Caribbean destination airline company that I invented. I created the logo, the interactive business card, stationary, and packaging for the airline passenger kit. The company is fun, tropical and laidback. For the logo it features colors that are associated with the feeling of the tropics, is simple in design to go with the laidback feel of the brand. The passenger kit is something fun that people flying on the airline would receive and it includes an eye mask, earplugs, and socks. The packaging resembles the logo with the colors and design elements used, and has playful product descriptions of the contents of each package located on the back. The idea behind the interactive business card was to be playful and have the recipient cutout the mini airplane and fly it over the map provided in the business card sleeve to help the recipient decide on their next Caribbean destination they should travel to.
