BSA Group Chair
I am pleased to present BSA Group’s Annual Report and Accounts for 2022-23 and to reflect on another strong year in support of our growing customer base
During the year, BSA Group served more than 1,600 customers in 40 countries and its original association, BSA, remained the world’s largest network of boarding schools, with over 600 members
With training and conferences remaining a core part of the Group’s offering, it was no surprise to see BSA remaining the largest provider with more than 100 events for nearly 2,000 delegates
Equally pleasing was the rise in events for HIEDA, SACpA and TIoB (the Group’s three newest associations) which exceeded 100 for the first time and reached more than 1,000 delegates And BAISIS continued its valued work for schools with international students, reaching more than 300 delegates
Alongside professional development, many of BSA Group’s wider, specialist services also supported customers well This included the growth of BSA Legal Services’ vital visa and immigration work for schools, an important extra offer which the Group has been pleased to support
In a landscape where many of our uK customers may at some point be impacted by policy decisions like VAT or mandatory reporting, I believe the services BSA Group provides are more important than ever And I know focusing on our mission ‘to support excellence in boarding, safeguarding, health education and inclusion’ through high-quality support and new service development remains the right thing to do
I am grateful to all our customers for their support for BSA Group, my fellow board and committee members for their time and wise counsel, and to the BSA Group Executive Team for its continued hard work
c h A I R f R o M t h e
Robin fletcher CEo, BSA Group
In 2022-23 delivering great customer service for all our members remained at the heart of the work of the BSA Group team
As our customer numbers increased so too did our services for them Whether that was a record 40 consultancy projects, 550 new members of our Accredited Boarding practitioner scheme, training more than 2,300 individuals or welcoming the first 20 delegates to our new boarding headship certificate course, BSA Group endeavoured to have an answer for every customer question
one of the many facets of BSA Group is understanding when our customers want breadth, something more specialist, or a combination of both
our breadth remains through BSA itself with its unique membership of global boarding schools and its largest-ever programme of boarding services. our specialist offer, alongside BSA, is increasingly delivered through BSA’s sister associations: BAISIS, hIedA, SAcpA and tIoB, which are continuing to enrol more members and offer more services
There has never been a time when the world has needed more the broad view, and the expert perspective, and the BSA Group’s growing team of experienced specialists is proud to offer that support
