You’ve heard me say it before, but our mission is to make the cattle business better than we found it, and continue to bring premier genetics to offer that would make prior generations extremely proud.

We all know the challenges we’re facing and we definitely don’t want to discount that fact, but we also need to remain focused on the great opportunities as members of the beef industry we have in front of us! At Powerline Genetics we pride ourselves on the fact that QUALITY COUNTS and VALUE MATTERS. We aim to offer cattle with performance traits in conjunction with rancher conveniences and back them all up with genetic potential to exceed the expectations in feeding environments and herd replacement needs.

We remain focused on cattle that are generally recognized as the “good kind” regardless of what breed you prefer. We believe in the benefits of crossbreeding and the heterosis it brings to “amp” up any herd and not change the integrity of what you want your cattle to be. We remain focused on bulls that sire progeny that allow for conveniently born live calves with size and vigor to get them through the toughest conditions. We expect consistent growth and performance to maximize weaned potential, and we continue to seek extended maturity and longevity for both feeding and replacement environments.

The March Edition features large sire groups from industry leaders like Eagle, Favor, Ashland, Growth Fund and Stellar as well as exciting new genetics to PLG; Innovator 533H, Hard Right, Manifesto, VIP, and Checkmate. The development of the embryo program at the Meyring Ranch has allowed for an offering of some high-profile pedigrees as well. We begin with the end in mind, and regardless of whether they are Simmental or Angus sired, we strive to offer a uniform set of bulls with genetic potential to the customers we serve. This set of cattle can work anywhere and pay dividends!
