Web Site News Web Site Galleries There is now a revised system in place for website galleries John Murray has agreed to administer the galleries so all you need to do is email the photos to him He has created an email address specifically for the use of Gallery entry requests which is: gallery.banddcc@btinternet.com Please use this address for all gallery communications to make John’s task as easy as we can.

Your Chance To Be Seen We also have another way for you to profile your work. We are always on the lookout for photography and stories to put on the website front page. At the moment the website tends to feature my photography. That's not because I want it that way but simply because no-one else ever sends anything to me. If you have any story you would like to tell or a few photographs you would like to show to a greater audience please send them to me and you can have your moment on the front page.

If you haven’t been to the website recently have a look and you will see some very good work in the members galleries - all listed Putting your images in a gallery is one thing but the front page of the website is now receiving over 200 hits per week and any under a tab on the front page. work profiled there will be seen by many more people. Elsewhere I have written about the coverage for this bulletin, it is now downloaded and read by about 200 people a week, so if you let me have a cover photo it will be seen by a lot of people. Cover photos need to be Landscape format.

Help We hope that by producing What's On we introduce you not only to the activities provided by the club but also to other opportunities to get out and about to take photographs or to see exhibitions or listen to interesting speakers. However we can only do this if we know what is going on outside the club. The website now includes two additional features the first is a calendar which incorporates not only the syllabus but other events and the second is a guide to local events provided by an outside source, and our new Weather Forecast Gizmo.

We need input from you to keep What's On and the calendar up-todate. If you learn of anything which might be of interest to other members whether it be somewhere to go or something to see please let us know.

For general events and photo opportunities please email the details to our events coordinator Steward Elliott. wildprophotos@yahoo.co.uk For other stuff please e-mail it to me secretary@bandd.cc Finally you will see that Andy Philips has provided this week’s cover. He has supplied me with some more images and there are always my threatened holiday snaps to fill in. However I am sure that there is someone else out there who would like to have their image on the cover and if you would send me an image you have every chance of it being used next week.

The image should be about 1500 pixels wide. What's On is landscape format and therefore landscape images are preferred you will also note that type is placed to the bottom right-hand corner so please take that into account when choosing the photograph.
