So, they began to work on the problem. To reduce the time it took to complete procedures, Edge Dental started with scanning back in 2015. And it worked – crowns were coming back in three days. But after a few months, they started to wonder, “why don’t we just mill it ourselves?” Edge Dental started a process of trial and error among its offices and made a significant investment in the equipment to mill what they needed.
