Red Riding Hood
Once upon a time, there was a girl who lived with her
mother in a cottage near a forest. Her grandma gifted her a red riding cloak which she was wearing everyday so everyone call her Red Riding Hood. One day, her mother asked the girl if she could pay a visit to her grandmother which was sick, and saying that she handed her a basket filled with food and a bottle of wine. Before leaving, her mother warned her to not talk to strangers.
As she was walking through the forest, the wolf
suddenly appeared in front of her from behind a tree. He asked her with a friendly voice what is she doing alone in the forest and where is she going. She forgot her mother’s advice and told the wolf that she is going to her grandmother, because she isn’t feeling very well. The wolf quickly made a plan how to eat the girl and her grandma and advised her to pick some flowers for her grandma, so that he can rush to her house before the Red Riding Hood.
The girl thought it would be a good idea and the wolf
rushed to the grandma’s house. He knocked at the door and the poor grandma had no idea who is knocking, so she told the wolf to come in thinking it’s her granddaughter. The wolf entered and before the granny could say a word, the wolf gobbled her up. He found in the wardrobe a night dress, a hat and dressed up as Little Red Riding Hood’s grandmother. He also found on the table a pair of glasses.
He went to bed, covered himself with a blanket and
waited for the Red Riding Hood to arrive. When she arrived, she approached the bed and noticed that something isn’t right with her grandma, but the poor girl couldn’t say a word, because the wolf jumped out of the bed and gobbled her up as well. After such a good meal, he felt drowsy and decided to take a nap. His snoring could be heard from miles away.
A woodsman who was chopping logs nearby, heard the
snoring and thought it’s a little bit strange coming from the grandma’s house, so he decided to investigate. When he opened the door, he saw the wolf sleeping in the bed. He grabbed the wolf, pulled him straight out of the bed and made him spit out the Little Red Riding Hood along with her grandma. While the huntsman was checking if they were ok, the wolf ran away in the forest and no one heard of him again.
The grandma and the little girl were so glad to see each
other and the Little Red Riding Hood promised to never talk to strangers again. They thanked the huntsman for saving them and invited him to lunch. The grandma ate from the goodies brought by her granddaughter and started to feel better already. It was almost bed time when The Red Riding Hood decided to go home.
