We manufacture all furniture, foam shapes and playground equipment in our facilities using raw materials only of the best quality. It enables us to control production process. We also have a Quality Certificate issued by TÜV Rheinland Poland which enables us to mark Novum products with the conformity sign ‘TEST + MONITORING’ which means that not only the finished products have been tested but also the whole production process is constantly monitored and improved. The Quality Certificate ISO 14001 confirms our commitment towards the protection of the environment. Dynamic development of the company allowed us to create over 300 workplaces. Glued wood Orbis

BIS System R O

Version: Extra and Extra plus, Orbis System has structural elements which are circular in cross section and are turned cylindrically with a diameter of 12 cm. They are made from glued pine wood, lamineted in 5 layers, additionally grooved lengthwise which eliminates longitudinal cracks. Tops of structural columns are protected from soaking by permanently attached plastic caps. Wooden elements are protected against the harmful effects of weathering by impregnation made with the use of natural oils and waxes. Load-bearing posts are placed 10 cm above the ground, thanks to the steel anchors fixed to a concrete foundation erected 60 cm in the ground.

Version: Extra and Extra plus

Quadro System has structural elements which are square in cross section and have a size of 9 x 9 cm. Posts are made of pine wood glued in 3 layers. In order to reduce the stress causing longitudinal cracks all posts are grooved longitudinally. Upper surfaces of structural posts are protected from soaking by permanently attached plastic caps. Wood is protected from the weathering conditions by natural oils and waxes impregnation. Posts are placed 10 cm above the ground, thanks to the steel anchors fixed to a concrete foundation erected 60 cm in the ground.

Version: Metal Plus Devices which are made to Metal Plus version have load-bearing columns made of steel pipes dia. 114 mm covered with zinc layer and powder painted with polyester paints, which are more durable and do not require a lot of maintenance.

Steel elements

Steel elements like security pipes, roofs, entrances, bridges, slides handrails, handles and metal anchors are made of carbon steel. After manufacturing such as cutting, bending, drilling, welding and mechanical cleaning, steel is free from dirt, fat and covered with phosphorus layer in special ultrasound baths. After drying out elements can be additional covered with zinc layer (version: Extra Zinc and Extra Plus Zinc). Next parts are covered with polyester powder paint, which makes a good protection from weather conditions.

Version: Extra Plus i Metal Plus

Roofs, slides, security elements, are made of polythylene plates called HDPE. This kind of material does not absorb water, does not swell, does not stratify or break. HDPE is mass-coloured, which means that even after scratching as a result of heavy use, the board still has a solid colour. The use of UV stabilizers provide colour stability for many years without the need to invest in paint and repainting. The surface of the board is easy to keep clean. Apart from one colour boards used for instance in roofs we use a multilayer board composed of layers with different colours. By milling the outler layer we discover the contrasting core which we use in creating interesting applications and the inscriptions on the security features and walls.

Structural componenets of the equipment (posts) are placed on metal anchors which are fastened to concrete blocks. This procedure isolates the wood from the ground at a height of about 10 cm, which perfectly extends the life of the wood. In the lower part of the post we drill four holes on the longitudinal depth of 200 mm. The other of 18mm in diameter are drilled on the cylindrical surface of the posts at the distance of 150 and 180 mm. A steel mandrel of 18 mm in diameter is inserted into these two holes with two threaded connections in which there are four long M 10 screws fastening the metal anchor, which makes the conection really strong and durable.

Connectors To connect metal and wooden elements, we use designed by us inserts which are patent protected. Plastic conectors allow to hide a 10 mm wood screw.

Guarantee During 24 months time we will remove defects arisen in the production process of glued wood, steel posts and HDPE panels. Within 36 months time we will remove defects of the steel elements- connectors, springs, plastic caps and other moving elements. Novum ensures service of original parts during 10 years from the date of purchase. Guarantee does not cover damages resulting from the acts of vandalism, theft, misuse and damages resulting from the normal usage of materials. Detailed information about guarantee can be found in the guarantee card.

During the production process NOVUM applies to the Polish version of the European norm EN 1176-1 to 1176-7 and 1177 introduced in 2008. Ensuring the highest quality and safety since 11.08.2004 Novum has implemented and uses the ISO 9001 quality management system confirmed by Dekra. NOVUM as a Polish producer of playground equipment has the certificates issued by „TUV Rheinland Poland” authorized to mark our products with the conformity sign: TEST + MONITORING. It means that not only the device was tested but also the whole production process. The design of the products in our offer are PROTECTED. It is forbidden to copy or imitate the design and technical solution without Novum’s acceptance.

On client`s wish we will deliver and install all devices and make required groundwork.

Devices are vandal-resistant and maintenance-free which provides long-term usage.

Pylon Pylon and 1 device

• massive structural element for carrying all fitness devices, one pylon can hold two devices, • contains an information board with instruction on how to use the mounted device, • simple mounting system, • made of S235 steel, covered with zinc layer and • powder painted, resistant to weather conditions and vandalism, made of pipes with dia. 114mm • welded to a steel, 8mm thick base plate, installed 30cm under ground level to a large concrete block size: 1000 x 1000 x 250 mm.

Devices • made of S235 steel, covered with zinc layer, powder painted with paint resistant to weather conditions, • main elements are made of closed steel profiles with wall thickness of 3.2 mm, • seats and backrests are made of HDPE board, which is anti-slip and resistant to weather conditions, • footrests and screws are made of stainless steal, • high quality, amortising elements decrease vibrations and protect steel pieces from hitting and scratching themselves, • there is a possibility to mount shading roof which is made of strong fabric, • vandal-resistant and maintenance-free for long-term usage, • exclusive and elegant design.
