Welcome to our 2023 Anchor B / Anchorage Bull & Female Sale. This winter has been rather interesting; early snow in December got us thinking about a long cold winter, but overall the Mother Nature has been pleasant and continues to improve with each passing day. This makes feeding cattle & calving cows quite a bit more enjoyable for us, we hope you have found it the same way. Market reports continue to strengthen and provide us with optimism for the industry. Quality calves continue to demand a premium at the auction yards and we are focused on providing bulls that you can expect to add to your bottom line. When the rains come this spring/summer, the feed prices will re-balance and it will be a great time to be in the beef industry. There is no time like the presence to improve your bull quality.

As we continue with our on-farm sale, you will find comfort in our spacious penning on both sale day or in advance if you want to preview the bulls & cowherd. We are available at your convenience if you would like to come to the farm early to get a better appraisal. This can give you additional time with our family as well, as we all know sale day can get a little hectic. We take a lot of pride in our cowherd & we always have time to talk with you about them.

With the convenience of having an on-farm sale, there is no need to bring your trailer sale day. We can arrange delivery after the sale and will keep bulls until May 1 if desired. Our goal is to make your bull purchase as comfortable as possible.

Terms & Conditions

Cattle will sell under the standard terms and conditions put forward from CAA and CLA. These are available upon request.

Volume Discount

3 bulls - 3%; 4 bulls - 4%; 5 bulls - 5%, etc.

Insurance

Please insure your bull(s) if they are remaining at our farm.

Guarantee

All bulls will be scrotal measured, semen tested, and sell as guaranteed breeders.

Delivery

We will transport your purchase to central locations in Western Canada and trucking arrangements to Eastern Canada or USA will be co-ordinated.

Bulls can remain at our farms until May 1 with no additional charge. These bulls must be insured.

All registered bulls carry registration papers, performance info, and EPDs. Each owner reserves the right to collect semen on any of their bulls sold through this sale. The semen collection will be at the seller’s expense and buyer’s convenience. Any semen collected will be for in-herd use only.
