We insist all purchases be insured while at Erixon Simmentals. All bulls and females become the risk of the buyer once sold. Erixon Simmentals will provide the utmost care of the animals that return to the farm.
Semen Collection
All bulls will be semen tested, palpated and scrotal measured. Information will be available a few days prior to the sale. Erixon Simmentals Inc. reserves the right to draw semen on any bull at our expense and the new owners convenience.
Guarantee
All animals will carry the standard breeding guarantee as specified by the Canadian Simmental Association. If a problem occurs with your purchase, please notify us as soon as possible. A bull of equal value and quality will be supplied or a credit given towards the purchase of another Erixon bull.
Sight Unseen Program
Every year more bulls are purchased sight unseen because of the increasing number of repeat customers and the fact that people are busy. Please call us or our knowledgeable sales staff and we would be happy to discuss the cattle in detail with you.

On behalf of Dave, myself, Griffin and Holden, I would like to welcome you, our fellow seed stock producers and commercial cattlemen to the 2025 edition of the Erixon Simmentals Bull Sale. 2025 marks 51 years of the BOBE tattoo. Dave’s dad Bob purchased his first half blood in 1974. That half blood cow is the matriarch of our largest cow family today.
Our cow herd and bulls are on a full herd health and nutrition program through the University of Saskatchewan, reproduction specialist Dr. Blair Simonson and Beef Smart Nutrition. At weaning the bulls are put out on a grass field west of the yard. The bulls are developed on free choice hay and pail fed after weaning and then slowly transitioned onto a high roughage TMR ration that promotes growth and longevity. We feel that our bulls are well grown out and not carrying anymore condition than needed. They’re sorted into their winter pens by the sale barn mid November.
If you can’t make it to the sale we are more than happy to assist you in your purchase. Feel free to call Dave, myself or any of the phone numbers listed for our sales staff. We have the full confidence in our sales staff and this is a free service to you. Your bids will be handled professionally and confidentially. The sale will be broadcast live on dlms. We still highly encourage you to come see the bulls and use the services provided by our trusted sales management. Videos of the bulls will be ready for your viewing sometime in February. All the pictures were taken in house in December.

Erixon Johnny 10M will always be a special one to us. He is your Canadian Western Agribition Reserve Grand Champion Bull, Senior Bull Calf Champion and Simmental breed champion in the Presidents Classic. It sure was a fun and memorable Agribition for Dave and I. He is the type of bull that we try to produce everytime we mate a cow and bull. Walk The Line and this high producing Kill Switch daughter cranked out a good one. Erixon Bella 117H has an excellent track record with her first 2 bulls selling to progressive cattlemen. The EPD profile on Johnny is real solid and he ranks in the top 1% for both WW and YW. We are excited to utilize semen on him in our program this breeding season.
13H is a huge ribbed, good haired red baldie momma. A full sib to 222L calved in January and is absolutely gorgeous. The picture of 222L speaks wonders for this bull, he is good haired and well balanced. Everyone will have a double check mark beside his lot number when you mark your catalogue on sale day.
The Stratton calves are soggy made and attractive. We don’t think that you could go wrong with adding this Stratton son to your bull battery. This fella is dark red, has exceptional hair and is very easy to like.

The Darlin’ daughters are starting to hit the full swing of production now. We thought very highly of Erixon Darlin’ 10J and decided to flush this extremely hairy girl. Here are 3 brothers for your apprasal and man are they rolling right along. 24M is a big nutted powerhouse with some extra frame and structure as he is sired by No Limits. We are planning on utilizing him in our program. The 2 Boss sired bulls 12M and 13M are dark red, very complete and have lots of shape. What a top end trio of bulls this young Darlin’ daughter has kicked out.

Calving Ease! The Shamrock calves are born small and easy. 126M is a very proud bull that is suitable for heifers or adding some calving ease into some young cows. His dam, 55K is extremely dark red and ranks amoungst the top of our young cows.
Calving Ease! Here is a son of the calving ease specialist Shamrock. This year we have a really good selection of red bulls that can be used in your heifer pen. There is alot to appreciate and like about 7M, he is a very complete heifer bull candidate. He’s out of a stunner of cow who is dark red just like him.

The Scream cow family is widely known throughout the industry and we have several of them right here on the farm. 32M has been a standout since birth and has always been a favorite of both Dave’s and mine. Who doesn’t love a white faced performance bull?! His dam, 202E ranks amoungst the top cows on the farm. She truely is a beauty.

Good old 513C has raised another highly marketable calf. She has been extremely consistent over the years and we did take the opportuinity to do a flush on her in her younger years. 42M pictured like a champ and has dense fuzzy hair.
Good old 5B has produced 9 calves to date. 2 bulls have gone into breeder programs, 1 daughter has been flushed, bulls have sold to commercial cattlemen and females have been retained in our herd. She knows how to get it done and done right!

This guy is a soggy pound pusher who stands out in the pen. He was a very early maturing bull that has looked the part since last spring. We can’t say enough good things about the Walk The Line sire group. His dam has a tight udder attachment and is dark red.

old 111Z has paid her way over the years and this bull is no excemption to that statement. He has a real nice splash of white on his skull, just like his dam.
can’t say enough about the gestation length and ease in which these Walk The Line calves came. The udder quality that our Darlin’ cow passes on through her progeny is the icing on the cake. This is the youngest Walk The Line son in the sale.

Calving Ease! Take advantage of these Simmental calving ease bulls when you can. We do have a real solid group of bulls that are suitable to breed your heifers. The dam of 92M is a maternal sib to Erixon Element 17J who the folks at Ashworth Farms have used successfully on heifers. These bulls spend from weaning until mid Nov out on a 15 acre field west of the yard and are then moved into the pens by the sale barn.

116M is a very useful herdsire prospect that will work on a variety of cows. Walk The Line is out of the history making Darlin’ cow. We sure are proud to have owned her! The 44H x WTL combo has made for a very nice power packed bull that has a very moderate birth weight. A maternal brother walks the pastures at McMillan Ranching.
Darlin’ is continuing to writing her own history book in the Simmental breed! She is now deceased, but her track record is unreal! If you aren’t utilizing a Darlin’ bull in your herd, you need to. The udder quality of her and her daughters is as good as it gets. The quality of the replacement heifers that you can retain in your herd will be beneficial for generations. We have flushed her multiple ways over the years and she gets it done everytime. There is a wide variety of sires to choose from in this group of 6 bulls.
We absolutely love this bull! He’s been at the top of the pack since the beginning. Erixon Eight Ball 19M is a true powerhouse. He’s extra long bodied, well muscled, big hoofed and pushes the scale down. He also has a pretty cool look to him with that extra neck extension. On the cow family side of things, his dam goes back to one of our orignal flush cows who helped put us on the map, Erixon Lady 2P. This young Epic cow hit it out of the park on this black baldie stud. He truly is a special one in the pen this season.

55G is a gorgeous uddered Capacity daughter that calved again right at the beginning of January. The Capacity females have proven themselves time and time again to be highly maternal cows. The Capacity x No Limits cross worked out exceptionally, a full brother was one of our high sellers last year. We are excited for the future of 8M as he has many outstanding attributes to offer the industry.

Calving Ease! Slider has been widely used across the country on heifers with great success. Pick up these calving ease black bulls when you can and capture the added weaning weights. 23M has a small skull and is a lower set bull that is easy feeding. His numbers show him as a real curve bender of a bull. Lots of calving ease, but punching in some big weaning and yearling numbers. The 56K cow is real easy on the eyes and is a favorite around here. We are expecting big things out of her as she ages into production.

14H is a beauty of a cow with an udder of perfection. As we write these footnotes, she has recently calved and it’s exciting to see what her 2025 No Limits calf will do. This will be her third No Limits calf in a row. We feel that 224L will calve quite nicely as he has a moderate birthweight, small head and is really smooth made.

225L was born at the very end of December with a moderate birthweight. He has a top knotch set of EPD’s and sits at the top of the breed for CE, WW and YW. This fella has looked the part since he was a few months old and has gotten better and better with time. He posted a 1548lb adjusted YW and is in the top 1% of the breed for WW and YW. 121M has been raised by another great cow who looks the part and can raise the good ones. A maternal sib sold in the prestigious Cobra event. We think the picture of his dam and maternal sib show you the depth of quality in his pedigree. We were lucky to purchase 46X out of the Remington dispersal quite a few years back, who produced the 94Z cow. A maternal sister to these flushmates was a lead off bred in Simmsational selling for $21,000 to Crossroad farms. 2 other maternal sibs have sold at Simmsational to Oberles and CS Livestock. The udder structure on this cow family has been phenomenal. We couldn’t write a better history on 94Z if we tried.
