We are excited to welcome you to the 2023 edition of the Premium Beef Bull Sale hosted by Ag-Land Farms with Bert’s NR Simmentals and McColl/ Schweitzer Simmentals. The move to the Johns farm is a welcome change to the sale and we know you will really enjoy taking in this sale in their beautiful, comfortable sale facility. These three progressive operations all have similar goals and beliefs within the Canadian beef industry and that is to raise and offer you, their respected clients, the best possible product available. Their never ending commitment to accessing the best genetics and culling their cowherd as hard as possible, takes out all the guess work for you and you can be rest assured each operation has made each decision with your best interest in mind.

The Ag-Land Farms operation is one that has been extremely fun to watch evolve the last decade. They are always on the hunt for the next great herd bull or exciting semen package to utilize and can always be found purchasing some of the very best females up for auction each fall. Their impressive cowherd is evident of their eye for quality livestock.

Bert’s NR Simmentals annually injects some of the very best available A.I sires into their progressive operation and their stout set of bulls is evident in the strength of the sires they use and the type and kind they strive to breed. They annually bring out some of the very best females we get to market each fall and believe it speaks volumes to the cowherd backing their operation.

The McColl/Schweitzer Simmentals outfit is a multi generation breeding program with everyone heavily involved. They place a large emphasis on the power of their impressive walking herd bulls such as NAC Westcott and WLB Blaze On as well as the utilization of exciting AI sires like Betts 808F. All three of these programs are backed by great folks that are a pleasure to do business with. They all strive to raise sound, functional beef bulls that will help elevate your program and positively impact your bottom line. With time comes change and this was the perfect opportunity to move the Premium Beef Bull sale to our farm south Kenton, MB.

Along with fellow consignors Bert’s N R Simmentals and McColl/Schweitzer Simmentals, we are super excited to bring to you a great set of bulls with performance and calving ease in both reds and blacks. We would like to thank the Bohrson Marketing team for taking on our sale and this new adventure!

Working alongside Greg and Allyson Workman we feel we have a very strong consistent set of bulls on offer this year. We have a bit of a change in our offering this year, along with our yearlings, we have two two-year old bulls as well as three Angus bulls. We feel there is the potential of some breeder bulls along with well working commercial herd bulls. We would like to reserve the right to draw semen on any of the bulls for our own in-herd use. The bulls are on a full vaccination program and will be semen checked, and ready to go work by sale time. Videos have been taken of the bulls and will be placed on www.cattlevids.ca.

Feel free to come and have a look at the bulls anytime at the farm as it is an impressive group that really needs to be seen to appreciate them.
