Soybean Paste Stew

Soybean Paste Stew is made by dissolving soybeen paste in in water, but the combinations and concentrations of ingredients like napa cabbage, radish, mushroom and tofu, change according to the person cooking the dish, so every soybean paste stew has its own unique taste.

Rice Cake Soup

Rice Cake Soup is prepared by thinly slicing white rice cake sticks and putting them in a rice beef broth. It's a tradition in Korea for families to gather around the table and share rice cake soup on New Year's Day.

Green Onion Pancake

Green onion pancakes are made by spreading batter on a heated pan and adding rows of chives and grilling them. Koreans especially enjoy green onion pancakes and makgeolli(rice wine) on rainy days.

Kimchi

Bulgogi

Bulgogi is prepared with beef that has been marinated in soy sauce, honey, minced green onion, garlic, sesame seeds, and pepper, and then grilled. The excess liquid can be mixed with rice, which tastes as good as the bulgogi itself.
