Customization tips
There are many ways to customize each of textures in this pack but I will give you few tips how to customize textures in Adobe Photoshop. Every tip mentioned here you can use in other image editing softwares because we wont go far and every software have Hue/Saturation adjustment. Most available image editing software’s also have blending options, the only difference is that all this features work better and gives slightly better results when using Adobe Photoshop.
Change size and resolution
It is quite easy to change texture size and resolution which are as already mentioned 3600x3600px and 300ppi. After opening texture in Adobe Photoshop go to Image > Image Size. To change resolution only, uncheck Resample Image option then type desired resolution in the Resolution text field. Click OK to confirm and you are done. To change pixel dimensions do the same thing: go to Image > Image Size and when Image Size dialog opens, ensure Resample Image is checked then type new pixel dimension either in Width or Height fields (second dimension will be automatically adjusted when Constrain Proportion option is turned on) on the top of dialog. Click on OK button to confirm and exit Image Size dialog.
Recolor texture
To recolor texture in Photoshop you can use Hue/Saturation non-destructive adjustment which is located in Adjustments panel on the right side of Photoshop window. Click on Hue/Saturation icon to create new Hue/Saturation adjustment layer. Drag Color, Saturation and Lightness sliders and watch texture and changes. You can check Recolor option before dragging sliders. On the top of Layers panel are blending options which combined with Hue/Saturation adjustment can give you excellent results. After creating Hue/Saturation adjustment layer and changing blending mode for that layer play arround with available sliders while changing blending mode for Hue/Saturation layer to: Multiply, Screen, Overlay, Soft Light and Color for different recoloring results.
